This delightful little place was recommended to us by a friend, and it was just as delicious as expected. Definitely worth stopping off for a quick panino if in the vicinities of Assisi.

My family has just recently returned home from an amazing Italian holiday. While our stop at Porcellino Divino was just one small part of an action packed 3 week vacation, we are all still talking about the food and experience we had here. Not only...was the food incredible, but the owner was so warm, welcoming and friendly on what was a cold and rainy day. It all made for such a memorable experience. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Assisi one day we will definitely make the short drive from Assisi to Porcellino Divino to sample some more porky goodness!More
Had lunch today at Porcellino Divino. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Very tasty sandwiches and the house red was lovely. Staff too were very friendly and helpful
We stopped for a quick lunch last Saturday.
We had torta al testo, the traditional bread with porchetta. Delicious and huge.
The owner is helpful, funny and makes the overall experience really enjoyable.
Price reasonable: 38 eur for 4 torta al testo, 1 water, 3...glasses of wine and 2 beers.More
The real pilgrimage in Assisi is Il Porcellino Divino! If you ever come to Assisi you need to stop here!! This place is just fantastic! The quality of their meats, the organic wines, the customer service of Matteo and his lovely dad, Antonello... Perfection !
I've been this lovely local place with my family members. We barely speak Italian but it was never a big problem. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Every menu we tried has its quality, easily suits to the Korean palate, and the...price was reasonable even for the drinks too. It was the best way to experience Porchetta for the first time. Willingly revisit this place to discover more! More
We stopped for an early supper on our arrival in the area, based on TripAdvisor reviews, and were not disappointed.
Matteo gave a delicious porchetta torta e porchetta panino
Grazie Matteo era Molto Molto Buono
Allora cento per cento
Grazie Mille
I came here several times for lunch . I felt bad as I seen the tour groups walking by and looking in knowing they had no time to stop here . You couldn’t ask for a finer panini anywhere in Italy . I loved the...small bottles of prosecco in the fridge to go with my meal . If you are anywhere close you need to stop by , you won’t be sorry .More
Prodotti eccellenti a prezzo contenuto, manager gentilissimo e locale pulito. Torneremo sicuramente!
Excellent products with good prices, manager very kind and shop clean. We'll be back for sure!
This fun restaurant only served pork. Actually the enture interior is decorated with pigs in all shapes and sizes. We didn't understand the menu, but the employee kindly pointed and helped us. The selection of beer is good and we had a small glass of...box wine on the side. Very informal and fun place.More
Fabulous lunch of local porchetta and prosciutto on fresh buns. Simple but just right. A really friendly hosts who served us at the table despite it not being table service. Lots of smiles.
Eat here. The best porchetta sandwich I've had in Umbria. So fresh and the bun was toasted. So much better than eating off a porchetta truck. The owner was very friendly and when I told him we liked the cracklings he gave us extra portions...- so amazing and crunchy.More
