The place is nice for czech standards, waiters talk in english very well. Sirloin was very delicious with his mushroom sauce and price is very comfy for an european workers. Definitely over the average czech places. I liked it

I visited this restaurant three times this summer. First time it was quite good according very slow service. We had steak tartar which was really nice. The second time we came, they gave us menu after 10 minutes waiting in nearly empty restaurant. Then we...were again waiting 15 minutes for order and then we have been told they do not serve meals because it is late. So we complained about long waiting time so they sad we can order, but gave us selection from two meals.... I had again steak tartar and my wife quesadilla. Steak tartar was teribbly overspiced with black pepper so it was very hard to recognize the taste of the meat. My wife said quesadilla used to be gorgeous last year but this time just average. An finally the third time- they were busy, service was again very slow and very badly organized. We ordered only beef soup for our child and quacamole with tortila chips to acompany our drinks. Beef soup was absolutelly taste less and so was quacamole - no salát, pepper, Lime, coriander. Just nothing. Comparing with last year they have only two kind of beer, slow service, bad food. And this was one of my favourite restaurant. But is not anymore, sorry.More
We enjoyed our time in this restaurant 1) some of the waiters do speak English , which seems to be not very common in Jihlava, so it was helpful 2) They have a good selection of cocktails and cocktails are pretty good 3) You cook...your meat on a hot stone, which is quite authentic , and since I have a slow eating 4 year old, hot stone came handy 4) They have a small playground with sand on the floor which helps to keep little ones occupied in nice weather Overall we have been happy with our dinner and experience in Buena Vista!More
We were travaling to Praga and choos Iglava for some afternoon dinner. Drivingw around we have found Buena Vista. It is nice place with garden and lots of space indoor. We ordered some soops, meet and salats and all were vary tasty. One small problem...were girls who served us due to weak english but we cope with everything. We recomend raw "tatar" meat.More
Was there twice. Both visits were ok. First day, I've had enchiladas. Tasty, but too much cheap cheese. Second visit, steak. I've ordered a 200gr tenderloin. But my feeling was, maximum 150gr on the table. I'm a steak fan and have had many in my...life. So I can judge, the weight! That's not a good behavior. I'll avoid a next visit!More
Had business lunch yesterday at this restaurant. Perfect food with excellent service. Clean place and one of the most representative in Jihlava. Can only recommend also based on prices. Very human prices for all categories of people. If you are in Jihlava just visit it.
We were there 10 people as a group, The restaurant was quite full, and so probably therefore the service / waitresses were not that well. Sometimes it was quite hard to catch one. But the steaks were excellent made, and you can also choose to...prepare it by your self. Everyone from us was satisfied with his food.More
We went for a meal... And later to a party with live music. The best: (1) the smoked meat: two types, both of them excelent, (2) the "cosmopolitan" coctail (small but delicious), (3) the pilsener urquell (as usual), (4) the blueberry cake. The worst: (1)...beef meat (expensive, hard and undercooked), (2) melon limonade (water with....anything else?) (3) the "piña colada" coctail (cocoa+cocoa and more cocoa.... No alcohol???).More
Not so good so I expect. Menu was little bit expensive, but not perfect quality and tasty. I can't recommend this place.
This restaurant surprised us with a realy good menu, where all the dishes were delicious. The staff is very friendly and profesionall.

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. Nothing was too much trouble....... Very accommodating when we asked to stay even later! We have also been for lunch a few times and the food has always been of great quality and quantity!
We went here after a good friend's marriage ceremony. Very pleasent and friendly staff serving good honest Czech fare in traditional surroundings. The management were very accomodating too, especially when the party went on until the early hours of the morning. Highly recommended.
A smaller restaurant, close to city center, located under a villa (practically a basement opened to a garden in summer. Cuban style food, the food could be better. I used to go there for cuban soup (Sopa Negricaldo was it called I guess) and excellent...Burger. Visited this place many times over past years. The siting outside in the garden is excellent, it's beautiful and quiet place. Also kids are welcome.More
