First visit since the grand reopening and it was perfect. Today was Kung pow chicken special day. Tables spaced for social distancing, masks for all servers and lovely open setting. Laurie is working hard with new partners, not new owners, so rest assured your experience...should be as good as in prior visits.More

The former Chin-Gon is gone but rest assured you’ll still be able to get the best noodles and Asian food in town at the new Kensho Bucerias, still in the same location. The new restaurant has undergone a significant redesign, and offers a more relaxed...vibe. The dishes are made fresh with natural local ingredients and has a delightful friendly staff ready to meet your every need. Great food and location. I suggest the noodles, but the Cashew chicken with rice is also hard to beat.More

Went to Chin-on for take out the other night. Can not say enough great things about how seriously they are taking this situation. I had spicy shrimp and my wife pad Thai. Food was excellent and everyone seemed to have a positive attitude even with...all that is going on. Thanks for a great dinner!!More

My friend and I ordered from here tonight and I must say, it is probably the best Thai food I have eaten and I have tried several places...Vernon, B.C, at least 2 places and Okotoks Ab., 3 different places . I had the Thai rice...with chicken and medium curry...so good. My friends looked good to, but we didn't eat together, so I will have to ask her tomorrow. The woman that served us, is from Calgary, AB., so it was kind of cool to bump into someone from the same place I am from. JUST AWESOME FOOD.More

First of all, I can't believe that I have passed this restaurant a million times and never experienced it before. I recently met the owners in a social arena and pledged to try the restaurant. Last night, I took three of my friends and we...were really impressed by the food. I have to say that, before posting here, I read all 7 of the worst reviews and I can honestly say, without exception, that I could not identify with anything they said from our experience yesterday. And I was wondering why each complainant never brought up their issues with management. Last night, everyone ordered something different, except two of us ordered the Pad Thai. Everyone loved the food. My "medium" heat could have been more medium, but next time I will order the spicy. We were warned in advance about the wait because they have a lot of phone orders and they are filled in the order they are taken, tables or take out. No problem with that. If you need anything, the place is small enough that you just give a call and someone is there to help you. We were there on Sunday, so we were lucky to be there for the Sunday special. Yay for us. The only disappointment if have is that I have not gone here more during the season. As to whether the area is safe or not, this is on a well-lit corner. Local entertainment stops by for tips; always friendly. I thought this was a great deal, great food, friendly staff. No complaints, just raves here.More

Return trips to Bucerias always include at least 1 or 2 dinners at Chin Gon. The owner, Laurie, and her staff go out of their way to make sure everything is right...the service is friendly and top-notch, and the food is amazing. For our first...dinner, we both ordered the husan chicken after a order of the spring rolls. Delicious, delicious ! Our last night there, we knew that we were heading there for dinner. My wife got the pad Thai, and I ordered the fried rice with chicken....and loaded with chicken it was ! We got extra plates and shared, both meals were delicious ! On both of our visits, Laurie many times would be stopping at each table to talk with the patrons, checking to see if the meal was what they expected. I can’t say enough how good the entire staff and the food is. And for 1st timers, since food is cooked to order, relax, have a drink and wait for a table to open up....you’re in Mexico and at Chin-Gon, where I wish we were right now.More

We've only been in Bucerias for 2 years, but this restaurant has become our favourite. We've tried just about evertything on the menu and not once have we been dissapointed. Large portions, fresh ingredients and so reasonably priced. Go early, it fills up quickly. Also,...amazing owner and staff.More

Great Thai food in a nice comfortable street side setting not far from downtown Centro Bucerias, worth eating here.

The waiter was prompt and very friendly , the cold rolls were fantastic BUT why frozen shrimp in the Pad Thai ? I seen your cook pull from the freezer and they were awful, no need for frozen in this town , slightly disappointed
