I haven't dined here often but do takeaways frequently from this place. It's really fun to dine out there with a group of friends or family who are young enough to sit cross-legged in a raised seating area with lots of pillows! The place has evolved over the years and now is licensed and has local wines and beers -... More

Small cafe, can either eat in or takeaway, prices are good and food was nice. There are only a few tables to eat at, so would probably have a late lunch, nice variety of food

Great Turkish food in a small country town. Completely unexpected. I now go here every time I go to Carterton which is about every six months.

We've had takeaways from here a couple of times. Delicious both times - good quality middle eastern food, with a nice range of meat and vegetarian dishes, plus a selection of syrupy filo delights for a little something afterwards! As others have said, the decor is very nice and there's a relaxed, buzzy feel to the place.

The Turkish food was delicious and authentic, even though the staff got the pronunciation wrong. The toilets were clean and the Turkish nick nacks and images made for a cosopolitan decor. The seats were comfy and the dining room spacious.

Have been here many times as we pass through Carterton. Their Kebabs are excellent - filled with lots of meat and salad. My daughter says the falafael is excellent as well. Staff are fast and efficient. A great place for a stop on a long road trip. Prices are good value and the baklava looks delicious as well. We will... More

Good food - authentic when compared to what we ate in Turkey, good service, nice atmosphere. A staff and owner that cares about what they're doing.
