Ordered a late lunch in an empty shop. 2 meals a juice and a coffee ordered. Expensive and only just ok to eat. Nearly finished my meal and asked the chief for my coffee that I had ordered at the start to be told they don't make the coffees and the other lady had left the premises. She went and... More

Expensive meals for the quality and content. Baked potatoes not hot and orders not provided correctly. Waiter also needed new trousers or a needle and thread as the rear view of his underwear was very unprofessional. Was offered free dessert for order mix up.

Had a quick coffee before journeying south. Nice coffee, nice cheese scone, and they charged my iPhone while I was dining. :)

Good local cafe with ordinary, well presented New Zealand food with ho gimicks to cover for poor service or rude staff, as some nearby. Don't go past it if you just need a decent coffee and something to go with it. If the weather is nice the rose garden is lovely - on the road, but you can enjoy the... More

The service was really slow, tables were not cleared. Food in cabinets had flies on them. Ordered Nachos the corn chips were stale. $5.80 for 1 filling in toasted sandwiches, then $1 each for more fillings. We won't be going back.

Had lunch in a beautifully perfumed rose garden under shady trees. Had salmon quiche filo and cappuccino coffee. Friendly service. Really enjoyed. Thanks.

We stopped here on our way thru Turangi. Café was well set up and had some wonderful food. Staff were friendly. Ok for kids also. Easy to find. Plenty of free parking

There's a rose garden with tables and chairs to sit underneath the trees. Nice to see the choice of sandwiches in the cold cabinet food. Coffee is good.

The guy barista is very cheeky (good cheeky) and the coffee here was the best I tasted in New Zealand. The food selection looked decent too. The second time I came back the barista recognised me and had a little chat which I thought was nice.
