No issues with service and a steak meal one of our group had was nice but the creamy carbonnara pasta, had never seen cream of any sort ever. It had cheese on top. A bit of chicken and basically very bland pasta in oil. They...managed to make pasta greasy. I did tell them I expected carbonnara sauce. I thought itbwas the wrong dish. They advised they dont do a creamy sauce with it. The creaminess comes from the cheese on top. Lesson learned. Leave the pasta to the Italians.More

Great food so a credit to the chef , however the service was shocking. The waitress was pleasant enough but incredibly slow at taking our orders and mucked quite a few things but bit at least the duty manager sorted it. Also we had to...wait ages for our drinks yet saw them just talking among themselves at the bar. The Rain Bar is a far better option in regards to prompt service and awesome friendly staff.More

Had a great meal here with the kids - the roast chicken is yum and the strawberry and spinach salad was awesome. Good food with a twist of something different .. loved the presentation too. Decor of the place is lovely, gives a real beach...vibe. We will be back!!More

Went here with our fortnightly dinning group of around 15 mainly senior citizens. It was so good we all are going back again for another evening. Meals and service to a large group can at times be difficult but not on this occasion, we thought...the set up with the meals partially partitioned off made for a good atmosphere and we did feel at home, we all thought it was one of the better places in town.More

This place is not family friendly and you get the feeling the staff don't want you there. We have been as a couple and as a family and all times have felt the staff aren't very friendly in fact I think its getting worse. As...locals we wanted to support this business but unfortunately they aren't helping them selves so now will go elsewhere.More

We often go to the Good Home, purely because its close to where I leave. However I have to say I always get frustrated with the lack of service. They are never that busy and always having to wave down a waitress. They have rules...that are not very customer focused things like not been able to book a table for snacks at 4.30pm even though they are never busy. Not been able to give table service during quiz night. Not been able to have a meal as takeaways. Really unfortunate because there's not much else around and has so much potential. I Always leave with the feeling the staff just don't care. Julie is the exception. She's awesome!! Food is okay. Roast chicken is always good other than that havent thought too much about the rest of the menu.More

This was our 4th time, very disappointing. We dined with our family visiting from Europe. The service was embarrassing. The waitresses were surly. Our dinner plates were cold, hence the food was cold. We asked for the meals to be reheated but they still came...back cold. Its a shame, when the pub originally opened the food and service were far superior. Won't be going back.More

Amazing fried chicken. Kids brownie was to die for but the service was average and the food took a while. 4 stars was fairly generous.

Miserable staff providing poor service. More atmosphere in a cemetery. Overpriced drinks and food. Nice location and fresh decor.

What a breath of fresh air. Fabulous food at a reasonable price, excellent service. Great atmosphere. Pay to book as busy on evening we were there.
