Everyone we talked to recommended My Dee's especially for the Friday night fish fry wich we attended. While the food was good it wasn't great and somewhat pricy for what you got.. Perhaps our expectations were elevated with all the recommendations and that may have...taken away from the experience but in the end, it was just another day at the barbeque.More
Everything was as fresh as you can get it and it didn't take long at all. We were worried because it was our first day on North Island and we hadn't called ahead but that wasn't a problem and we had a delightful meal.
We stopped in for a late lunch on Christmas Eve. We had a hamburger and fresh fish. The hamburger was good, but the fresh, frilled fish was amazing! It's located in a little "strip mall" at the opposite end from the liquor store. It's definitely...worth the stop.More
Visit My Dees when on North Caicos. It is located around mid island and offers a variety of island food. Try the Sea Bass which was our favorite. Merricka is also available to be your private chef. We enjoyed her cooking on our trip.
Stopped in for lunch today as part of our all day tour. Fresh, home made food cooked as you order it. My wife really liked her chicken tenders and I thoroughly enjoyed my grilled snapper. Oh, and the coconut pineapple ice cream was super! The...woman there (I'm guessing she was the owner) was super friendly and efficient; handling our group of 6 with ease. Didn't know what kind of lunch we were going to get when we booked our tour, but this was the best! Can't comment on the prices (other than the booze) because lunch was included, but I'm guessing it's par for the course since you are on a sparsely populated island. Swing by if you are on the island; you won't be disappointed.More
