The Barracuda Beach Bar is a three-table restaurant and bar located inside the Pelican Beach Hotel, right on the beach. It's an outside palapa and they cook to order at their outdoor grill and there's a bar as well.

You simply MUST go!

This is the quintessential beach bar. A tiki hut literally 3' from the beach. The drinks are cold, the decor is beach-find kitsch. It's coziness lends itself to chatting with your neighbor, sharing your North Caicos experiences. We didn't eat here, but the food looked excellent. When my son asked about the coconuts from the tree on the deck, the bartender whipped out a machete, chopped the top off one and popped a straw in it for him to try. Like everywhere else on North and Middle Caicos, the people are warm, friendly and welcoming.

Good eats & has a full bar, on the oceanfront

We visited several times. The breakfast offerings were simple : egg, French toast or pancake. The coffee was, well gee was that coffee? The rum punch & daiquiri were tasty & light. The whole snapper dinner was two tiny deep fried fish, husband was still hungry afterwards. Cracked conch was excellent.

Beach side bar and grill with views to die for!

There is no place like this in the Caicos Islands. This bar & grill is right on the beach, with great views, breeze coming through (but they do have rain curtains if it rains), and good food. You can enjoy a drink or a meal and enjoy great conversations with friends.

Quick Stop

We stopped here as part of our day excursion to experience the fresh coconut milk. It was very good and the view of the beach was nice. The adjoining hotel looked quaint but we did not stay there. If you think of a bar off of the beaten path, this is it.

Great little beach bar

We were staying about a mile down the beach and decided to walk down one afternoon for a drink. The bar is great, very low-key, very beachy, and very casual - we were in swimsuits with coverups and sandals and were perfectly appropriate. This is an outdoor spot, right on the beach, the views cannot be beat. I had a Piña Colada, my daughter had a virgin strawberry daquiri and my husband had the island punch - we were all very happy with the service, price and wuality. Will definitely be back for . lunch!

lovely lunch on the beach

We popped in here for lunch after a visit to Wades Green. The waitress, I think her name was Kay, was lovely. We are vegetarians, and there was no veggie entree, so we ordered the house salad and the side dish fried plantains. The salad was huge, and the plantains were crispy fried deliciousness! all washed down with a cold beer while enjoying the lovely beach view!

Best Beach Bar on North Caicos

Small, intimate location right on the stunning turquoise water of Pelican Beach. This is everything I dreamed a beach bar would be. Thank you so much to the courteous and hard working staff ; even an outsider can feel the strength of the families and community that sustain this place.

Nice location, average food.

This was the only place open when we visited North/Middle Caicos for the day, so we had little choice. Great location on the sea front and nice open restaurant/bar (gets an extra star). The food however, was like eating in an average English pub. Big disappointment. Would be a good place to go for a drink, but I can't recommend the food. Anyone travelling from Provo for the day should take some sandwiches and drinks with you for lunch.

This was our second visit to North Caicos and the Barracuda Beach Bar has not missed a beat in two years. Still has an awesome view of the ocean and the wait staff are still top notch. Greated with a smile and friendly service. Would recommend you stop for a few drinks and something to eat. Can't wait to come back to visit it will be one on my first stops.

Great Place Right on the Beach

We ate here twice while staying at the Pelican Beach, which it is attached to. They do a great job of making tasty food considering how difficult it is to get to North and Middle Caicos. Staff was friendly and fun and we really enjoyed our time. You have such great sunset views here and it is a great place to relax after spending all day on the beach. Selection of food and drinks is very good considering how isolated North Caicos is.

Perfect beach bar

We visited barracuda Beach bar several times on our two weeks stay on North Caicos. We enjoyed their drinks its sunset pelican rum punch was amazing. Comforters were excellent. Our teenagers enjoyed their virgin coladas and daiquiris. We eat dinner there one night spicy fish sandwich was absolutely amazing

great views and super staff!

We were in North Caicos over Christmas and we had several lunches and a dinner at the Barracuda. The staff is terrific and Kay also happens to be the massuse at the Spa (which we would HIGHLY recommend a treatment from her!!!!). The drinks are nice, the beers are cold and the chicken lettuce wraps were my daughter's favorite thing to have on the island!

Spent the afternnoon on the beach and dinner at the Barracuda

Good food and plenty of it. Bring your bug spray the sand ticks came out in force at dusk. The staff were great and the location couldn't be better. Enjoyed a cigar on the side deck and some others came and joined us as well.

Best food of our entire holiday

Stopped at Barracuda Beach Bar and Grill today for lunch. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I had crack conch which was 5 star quality, cooked on the spot for me. My husband had outstanding whole red snapper. And I recommend the Pelican Punch. The views are outstanding of course as it's on the turquoise ocean. The place is cute!

Average food, great beach view and atmosphere

We had conch fritters and my friend loved her cracked conch. It’s a fun relaxing atmosphere right on the beach - a quintessential beach bar. Good view of sunset. Staff is friendly and kind. Definitely go here!
