This restaurant was our favorite place on North Caicos. Not only was the food delicious, but also had friendly, welcoming staff. The ambience they have created is so charming. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner there several times over the week, and each experience was...as great as the one before. Karen is a wonderful hostess and makes a great margarita! Every single meal, every single bite, every sip of my drink.....exceptional! Couldn’t have asked for more!More

We were sure to stop in the day before to make a dinner reservation, pulling up to the restaurant you initially worry that you're going into someone's home as it looks more like a charming little house than a restaurant from the outside. The owners...couldn't have been nicer - very accommodating and took the time to answer our questions about the menu and the area. We were coming in to celebrate a birthday, and were happily surprised when we arrived to see our table decorated with a banner and special napkins- super thoughtful and very much appreciated. I had the fresh lobster tail, my husband went with coconut shrimp and my daughter had a pizza. Everyone was happy with their meals and cleaned their plates, but I'd say the best of all was the appetizer - homemade conch fritters, with a homemade cocktail dipping sauce. SO GOOD and definitely worth trying! We ended up taking some homemade ice cream to go for dessert. The ambiance was nice - quiet and relaxing, and the owner came by a few times to check on us and make sure we were happy with everything. The decor was simple and beachy- probably the nicest I've seen on the island. I think the only negative would be the Piña Colada - it looked great and I was super excited to try it, however it had a dishsoap kind of aftertaste. I'm guessing it was a one time thing, and it wouldn't stop us from coming back and highly recommending the restaurant to others. Price was fair for the meal.More

Fabulous dinner—conch fritters and spinach dip apps were very good and the curried lobster and conch dish was perfectly matched with coconut rice. The snapper, Parmesan squash and rice were delicious. And OMG the Homemade Blackberry Sorbet, Toasted coconut, butter pecan ice cream and Chocolate...cake were amazingMore

We try to get there every year or so with friends or family. Great place with a genuine owner. Normally stop for dinner, today stopped for home made ice cream with children and grandchildren. Rich, creamy deliciousness.

We dined here on our first night in North Caicos. It was a great way to start our vacation. The grilled fish, steak and lobster was delicous. For an appetizer we had the spinach dip, quite possibly the best spinach dip I have ever had....Karen's attention to every detail makes the experience very special. You should definitely save room for her lime cake!More

Thanks to Karen and Poach for taking us in last minute tonight. We didn’t realize we should have made a recommendation and they were closed but we asked if we could have something and by chance Poach had marinated red snapper so we managed to...get Greek salad, conch soup and grilled red snapper and man was it amazing!!!! Of all the meals we had on Provo and north Caicos, this was the freshest fish and best salad. We were so appreciative they took us in and fed us – and the meal was spectacular! Added bonus? Homemade ice cream to go including rum raisin with the raisins soaked in rum. Don’t miss this one!More

You MUST call ahead (before noon for diner). We arranged dinner for Christmas eve and were treated to a lovely ham, turkey, stuffing, potato dinner. Squash soup for an appetizer, sweet potato bread with cinnamon butter, and a choice of candy cane cake or sweet...potato cheesecake for dessert. They were so sweet to make accommodations for my vegetarian daughter. It's down a dirt road, a little tricky to find, but well worth the drive!More

Thank you for mentioning the "call ahead for orders". We like to marinate and it allows us time to adjust to special food requests and allergies. We put a lot of thought into our Christmas meal and I am happy you enjoyed it.

Ate here several times during our stay and, although it was the end of the season, Karen and Poach were so hospitable. Karen is a great chef and is happy to accommodate requests. Try to catch her when she's not busy as she is part...of island history!More

We ate here twice and both meals were excellent! My husband raved about his "catch of the day - Snapper" all week and insisted on going back on our last evening in N. Caicos. The food is artfully prepared and chef Karen uses the finest...ingredients available. The atmosphere is upscale, but still casual enough to wear a sundress and sandals. You will need to reserve in advance (by noon) to ensure the freshest ingredients. I had the lobster tail which was in season and the frenched lamb chops the second night. Both were delicious. You must try the toasted coconut ice cream - fabulous! And then take a stroll down the beach after your meal. It will be a night to remember and Karen is a friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating hostess. You will enjoy the food and conversation and will have a truly memorable meal.More
