we went to a family wedding on Saturday, what a lovely venue to have a wedding, especially if you don't have loads of guests. Nice and cosy, bar staff very efficient and friendly. The location is lovely and has ample parking spaces. I would definitely recommend this venue for a romantic beach wedding and you would get some lovely photos.

We regularly visit when down on the beach with the children but last week I decided not to go again as I was bitterly disappointed. Having the dogs meant we needed to sit outside which wasn't really an issue as we generally sit there whilst the boys are on the beach. However, the tables have changed from wood to metal(rusty... This is my second home! Sharon treats all visitors like family and the fare on offer is excellent! I travel over 20 miles every Saturday and it is the highlight of my week!

All this place has left to offer is the view. Changing the cup size was an awful idea. Your drink gets colder quicker or is that the idea to get you to buy more ? And then there is the coffee. Once was excellent. Now not much more than hot water. Clearly changes afoot and none I can see are... More

Visited earlier in the week for lunch. Great location, but hiccups at the start. Wished to order angus beef burgers to be told they had run out the day before! Confused as to why they still had none 24 hours later. Anyway, decided to have pizza - only to be told that the pizza oven had broken. We were getting... More

Good idea but overpriced and overcrowded. Maybe a barista coffee bar outside would help. Wouldn't go back.

I knew this place existed but never made a point of going. Couple of weeks ago we were walking around Tynemouth and spotted it.....down a long flight of stairs. Ventured down and WOW....just wow! Fab place with outstanding views-tide was fully out that day and as it wasn't school holidays there was literally a handful of people on the beach.... More

Have breakfast then enjoy the spectacle that is Long Sands beach or enjoy the spectacle that is Long Sands beach and then finish with lunch it's up to you, equally enjoyable all year round.

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and ordered coffee and muffins which looked lovely. After paying we looked for a clean table but all the tables were either dirty or still had plates on them. We had to sit on a cleanish table for our snack, the place was busy with lots of screaming kids and adults, not the place... More

Couldn't go to the fish shak down the other end as dogs weren't a loud on the beach bit of a let down! Came to faithful crusoes were food was so cheap but of such high standards, we had the beef burger scampi and the tuna melt and a muffin all top notch food and nice staff too who brought... More
