Stayed for our friends wedding. The staff were so hospitable and lovely, the cuisine was delicious and the views of the mountain range were spectacular. Will certainly be returning to tour around some more of the local points of interest. Castle Cantacuzino is beautiful and therr are many other areas of interest nearby.

My girlfriend and I stayed here from 17-20th of September. We have eaten multiple times at this restaurant. I will now very shortly describe most of the products that we have eaten, take into account that I am a very picky eater and anything above 7 from me it's usually a 10 for others.
1) Veal Soup -> Great 8/10 (you also get a lot of meat in it).
2) Bacon Wrapped Chicken -> 9/10 Superb! (the pickles I ordered with it were also good 7/10)
3) Al-Forno Spaghetti -> 8/10.
4) Caesar Salad -> 9/10 (this is the real caesar salad with tuna, so care when ordering, it also has chicken)
5) Carbonara -> 8/10 Love it! (usually all pasta that I eat is around 5-6)
6) Papanasi -> 6/10 (They are your standard papanasi from every place, a tad better so 6 instead of 5 because I found the jam quite ok for a restaurant)
All in all, the best place to eat in Busteni and I am very sad that I even wasted time with 3 other restaurants with great reviews such as Kayus.
If I ever visit busteni I would always eat here, hands down.

We took one of the apartments which was pretty nice, accommodating 2 adults and 2 kids.
The hosts are very nice and careful with us. The view on the mountains is great.
The restaurant was good enough.
Everything was fine and we enjoyed our staying.

One of our worst experiences regarding food.
The soup was horrible, the veal soup had no taste, the meat was hard to chew, it contained pork and it had no resemblence to a traditional dish. The chicken one was tasteless too and the bread was at least 2 days old.
Avoid the restaurant. The location has a great view but that is the only real reason why you should grab a beer, or a canned soda.

I ordered Tagliateli Al fono and i was presented with Tagliateli with salmon. The food was extremely spicy and the server argued that that was what I ordered which was clearly not true!
I left bittered and will never return in that place ever again.. worst restaurant ever with careless personnel!

The food is average and does not reflect the price.
The serving and the attitude of the staff could be improved.
We ordered 2 second courses and a desert - simple, average food. After 1h we received the second course - we ate and we expected to receive the desert soon. After another hour, we asked if there is an issue with our desert. We were told it will come in 5 minutes - that turned to be 25 min. I assume they forgot to order the desert in the first place and they just kept us waiting.
When we eventually received it the waiter was acting all weird as if it was our fault and not his. No excuses, no nothing. That's completely unacceptable.

The restaurant looks nice, the food is good but nothing special. Prices are not too high and the waiters are very nice. The order took 35 minutes until served.

It has a very nice view and it looks really nice in the restaurant. The prices are not so high and the food was really good. Their special dessert is amazing and I'll be coming back for sure to try their rooms as well.

Based on the other tripadvisor reviews I can say we had quite high expectations for our 1 night stay in Casa Freya. We had a nice dinner, good portions, tasty meals (very good pancakes). The room was nice at a first glance, of a good size, with all necessary amenities. the minibar was very noisy though. The surprise was when we got to the bathroom, where despite the "Sanitized" ribbons placed on the toilet and shower, there were signs that due diligence was not done when cleaning it (example: on top of the shower glass panel there was an empty Shower gel recipient). Good wifi in the room. Great quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Rather small parking place but considering the available space it is still great that they offer it. The view is nice, overseeing the mountains, and with the forest right at the back of the pension. Great potential, might need to have some small improvements in order to get to a higher standard (especially in terms of cleanliness).

The location faces the mountain offering the best view from the resort.The staff is excellent,the rooms impecable and the food tasty.

We found this place on trip advisor, and based on the reviews decided to go there to eat. Since it is still warm outside we decided to eat on the balcony, since they had tables and guests already there. We asked if it is ok if we sit there (therefore the waitress knew we were there). We sat down and waited 30 min before we went inside to ask if anybody will be coming to take our orders, they said that they will be with us in a minute, of course i think it is useless to say that after another 20 minutes waiting time asked again about our orders being taken and gpt the "we will be with you in a minute" answer so we left.
I so do not reccommand this place....

Is a nice place with a nice view . It’s ok to drink a coffe and a wather but not necessarliy to eat . The prices are high in conparison whit is sevices and the food is acceptable if you are not to fussy .

Breathtaking location, view, air and energy. All you need to perfectly relax and enjoy. Very nice restaurant with many home made specialities (Palinka, wine, ice cream...) and excellent service. A must do.
