Quite simple and informal, this is one of the best restaurants to eat grilled fish. Entering the restaurant, you can see the counter with the variety of fresh fish available to be grilled on carven, excellently, on the left side of the counter. Owners are very polite and pleasant. The young maid still has much to learn though. But the... More

We had intended dining elsewhere but with this one of the few open on Monday night we are so glad to have eaten here. Great chicken Peri Peri.

I can say: I've learnt how to like fish here! Yes, I didn't liked, at all as a child! But for camponesa's responsibility I'm a fish lover and I can say that's totally impossible to not enjoy this fish!! Who knows the place knows what I'm talking about. However don't expect too much from the installations, that's something that should... More

If you enjoy the "tasca" experience, this is for you. Fresh fish salad and boiled potatoes are the house fare. Fish is grilled on open flame. The quintessential local grilled fish restaurant. The menu consists of grilled fish, boiled patatoes and salad, green or tomato. There are alternatives for the meat lovers.

Don't be put off by the comments about this restaurant being basic. Get their early enough and you will avoid the street long queues that appear later in the evening. Yes, it's cosy, tight and not flashy, but the food is amazing. They do ribs, steak etc, but this IS a fish restaurant so have the fish! The menu may... More

This is a very basic restaurant. Do not expect anything fancy. However for grilled fish you cannot go wrong and since it is not in the more touristy areas the price is also right. They have a lot of different types of fish, even fresh grilled anchovies which is not very common. The fish was really well grilled and it... More

Small family run establishment serving fish on the grill. They do also have chicken but you have to wait for it to be cooked. Reasonable price too. Parking is a problem but well worth the bother. If you are not a big eater ask for half a dose

This restaurant keeps the charcoal grill food at a high level, I recent visit it again during march 2014 and still have high quality. not so crowded as in summer time. Again fresh fish and a wonderfull meal. I recommend the Sangria and the tomato and pepers salad (Montanheira). The fish variety is huge and the service is great.
