We enjoyed the "menu di gustazione" or tasting menu at 48 euros per person. It includes 4 antipasti, a primo, a secondo, a contorno. The portions are appropriately small so one can enjoy all of them. Dessert was also included. We sat outside and enjoyed the energy of a busy evening in late July in Fiumicino. The fish menu was... More

Not that they need another review, but I feel compelled to show my gratitude for the service and food I received. This restaurants only serves fish though, but they know their fish Outstanding tartare di tonno, followed by a Grigliata to die for, with Puglia red wine. The waiters were very attentive and let me talk Italian mixed with some... More

We were seated in the middle of the room although plenty of other seats were available, which resulted in servers constantly bumping in to me. You are seated on lawnfurniture - even inside. Service and noisy bustling atmosphere makes enjoying the food - although ambitious - a challenge. A challenge I was unable to overcome, so after having been bumped... More

Small restaurant right near the water and fishing boats. Menu was only in Italian and one of the servers was somewhat helpful with translation. Regardless of out limited menu understanding, everything we ordered from Apps, pasta, main and deserts were all wonderful and creative. Huge selection of Italian white wines to pair with the seafood. They were also very helpful... More

Good restaurant but the best option is the appetizer sampler menu. Regular second courses were fair but the starters looked great.

Fiumicino was a complete surprise as we booked a hotel just to be near the airport. Fiumicino is a lively, picturesque fishing village. Although full of tourists, the restaurants and not touristy. Started with complimentary fish based small dishes, followed by main courses of fresh fish and pasta. The dessert of rissoto, pears, and ice cream was the best dessert... More

Maybe my tittle says it all. We were recommended by the staff at the Hilton Rome airport to have dinner there. It was my wife's B-day . I said, not too expensive but to have the opportunity to enjoy an exquisite delicious Italian meal. Amazing food, the bill was around 76 Euros for 2 people with 4 glasses of house... More

Yesterday 9th June was my first visit together with my boss and co-workers. We decided to order the degustation menu. And it was a total success. Really good quality and presentation among quantity. Seven-course menu for 35€. I will repeat without any doubt next time in fuimicino.

Unlike other restaurants located on the banks of the Tiber river (il Tevere) close to the sea in Fiumicino which serve mostly fried seafood, the Osteria dell'Orologio takes the dining experience to a complete higher level. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and recommended the 7 course meal, which comes in the cooked or raw seafood (crudo) variety. We chose to... More
