We had breakfast for two people. A papaya with water and ice fresco, eggs, Gallo pinto (Tico rice and beans) a fried piece of non melting cheese, some fruit and a pice of Bimbo white bread toast. With the 13% tax and 10% tip added to the bill, it came to about $25. Pretty much the norm in Nosara. The... More

Casados are the best meal in CR! Fully composed with protein of choice, rice, beans, chopped sautéed veggies, and salad. And perfectly priced. We had the filet of chicken which was marinaded deliciously and served with sautéed onions (if requested). The bone in chicken con salsa is my fiancé's favorite. The salad dressing and hot sauces are super flavorful; I... More

Good, but not great. Had the traditional tico breakfast and my partner had huevos rancheros. It was a bit of a wait, which I wouldn't have minded if it were something to truly look forward to but....not so much. The tico breakfast comes with eggs and rice with beans..that's it. You can get the same thing elsewhere with plantains and... More

Stopped by for lunch and had a Veggie Casado plate. It was very good and a good price for the area. I just love the simple, healthy local food! The girls were sweet and I'd recommend this place for a taste of typical Costa Rican food. :)

Play Guiones is fairly overrun by American food (even if of the healthful variety). Rosi's reminds you that you are in Costa Rica and that you can eat actual Costa Rica. cuisine in Guiones. And the fresh juices cost half of what they do elsewhere in town!

Recommended by several folks. Food was fantastic. Ate here twice during our week stay. Very affordable and all in our group gave it a thumbs up.

This place was suggested to us by a local as she said this is the only place that the locals can afford. Serves traditional Costa Rican food. The Casado is great. We ate the fish chicken and pork chop Casado. On Tuesdays and Thursday's the serve arris con pollo, excellent. Looking for good food at a bargain in Nosara go... More

Loved walking over to Rosi's (north Guiones) for breakfast or lunch during our stay in Nosara. Both were delicious, made fresh with local ingredients. We had the huevos rancheros, vegetable omelet, chicken and fish casadas as well as the fresh fruit. It was the best local fare we had. It does get busy, and there is a wait, but its... More

Loved our morning ritual of eating at Rosie's. Great Gallo pinto with local cheese and the best avocados money can by. A must do while in the area. We ate at the one next to GoJuice and the Frogpad. We will miss it.

Don't come here if you are in a rush but we enjoyed the slow pace of lunch here. We all ordered the casadas and they were tasty and good value for Nosara.
