The pizza were great and served on a plank of wood. I had the grilled chicken and it was so good. The service was slow, but the staff their said they were not repaired for the crowd they had being it is their off season. Service was good. Would go their again.

Awesome food and great atmosphere with lots of locals and good fun! We loved it and would have eaten more often there if we had discovered it earlier.

The locals come here for good reason. Great food at a great price. we had the lomito jalapeno (steak in jalapeno sauce) and the pork chop in mushroom sauce (can't remember the spanish translation), both were excellent. Comes with vegetables and a choice of fries or rice. Finished with a coconut flan, lightly flavored, not too sweet, pretty good way... More

We ate here our 2nd night and the good was very authentic. It's a locals place and you can definitely tell by the atmosphere. They have a nice little bar area, the restaurant was nice and they were even doing an aerobics class on the side room. It was neat to see all the locals and mingle. I had Lomita... More

We brought in a crowd of 13 and everyone had a great meal. We were lucky enough to be here for the Copa 2016 soccer match of Costa Rica v. Columbia. It was a blast to watch match on the big screen with the Ticos. We had to continue the celebration (at the encouragement of our new friends) at a... More

This is a big rancho with local food and local people. We are costaricans and went there to watch a soccer match of the "SELE" (national soccer team) not expecting anything more than a simple meal and the possibility to watch the game, but were amazed at how good the food was. This is one of the few places in... More

Rancho Tico is off the beaten path and is a very locals only place....but don't let that intimidate you. Our wedding planner recommended this place. It was a blast, great food and atmosphere. We had 20 and a small band, additionally there was a wedding reception going on....that was about another 70 people. The kitchen did not miss a beat.... More
