We had a room at kaya sol and ended up staying else where, but we ate at the restaurant most every day ... The watermelon and pineapple juices are awesome .. So is the tico breakfast. I liked the cool floor and the cool tables. The guy that was there most every morning was super cool and only occasionally grumpy:)... More

Lots of people hanging out, watching sports and socializing. Great food and fun; the people who work here really seem like they have fun working here.

There were six of us, and we were served promptly. The food was fresh and presented well. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is authentic and peaceful.

We wandered in for lunch and I had the Wipe Out - a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was very good. I keep thinking about it. Very crispy chicken, with mozz, bacon, onions. Ok, maybe it doesn't sound that special, but give it a try! It really was very good. Also had the fish special, which was delicious and a huge... More

I'm reading some of these negative reviews by people saying things like the food is tasteless and the prices are cheap. Huh? You must mistake the place for another. I have eaten here maybe 10 times. The food is excellent under supervision of chef Jorge who certainly knows what he is doing. Try the Corvina special with jumbo shrimp. Doesn't... More

I was so impressed with everything. The fish tacos were deconstructed with something like 8 ounces of fresh snook, house made tortillas, delicious cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, the works. The Casado was excellent, as was the arroz con pollo...almost seemed like a stir fry style of preparation, yum. Happens to be one of the only restaurants around that accepts... More

Went here several times for dinner/lunch and breakfast. Never disappointed. Very good food (especially the fish tacos), good breakfast, great cocktails and coffee, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Only downside..male bartenders and waiters were not so friendly. On the flip side, the one female bartender that served us was very nice.

Back in Costa Rica, Kaya Solar is our first stop for food. 6 adults, 6 kids. Usually a gong show but so laid back that everything is great. Food is so fresh I can't believe it. Simple meals that area so satisfying.

We stopped at KayaSol for dinner on our first night in Nosara and the food was fantastic and the service was excellent and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend coming in for any meal of the day.

Super yummy food and vegan friendly. Great with my wife and my 12 year old son. Fast and super friendly service. A must eat when in Nosara!
