I love the food here. Very flavorful Mexican- not just heat but intricate, great flavors. Good selection of drinks, gourmet Margaritas, good sangria and Mexican Mule. Beautiful space. Modern, tasteful Latin decor. Two stories, top floor has a gorgeous view of the mountains. Is right out the door of Park Meadows Mall. Service needs improvement. I was a solo diner... More

We heard the food was very good here so we thought we'd give it a try. There were five adults and we all thought the food was good...not great, but good. However, the service was pretty slow. Also, we all thought that the prices were on the expensive side for the amount of food you get. I don't think that... More

Last Friday, 6 of us met at La Sandia at 11:00 for a team meeting. The server was very nice and delivered hot food and was spot on getting us watered etc. The food however was totally forgettable. I had the soup, enchilada and refried bean combo. The soup had a strange flavor and I would tell you what it... More

The appeal to this place is the wonderful patio, amazing views. Had a pitcher of Cadillac margs with a buddy, Cant speak to the food, but the drinks were very very good.

We like Mexican food. And if you like a "smoky" twist of flavors in your salsa, among other things, you will enjoy La Sandia. We ordered the lunch trios and it was both tasty and plentiful. Chips and salsa kept being refreshed at our request. A nice meal, although being perfectly honest, I enjoy Richard Sandavol's Tamayo and Zengo restaurants... More

I have tried this restaurant out three times and every time the food was subpar and too expensive. It's busy, so I will give them that. It's too bad because it has so much potential!

7books, I recently joined the La Sandia team here at the Park Meadows location and am working at addressing the issues that have led to the review you posted on October 15th. Any negative experience if concerning but the fact that you have yet to have a great experience in any of your three visits is completely unacceptable. I would... More

"Do you want to sit upstairs or downstairs?" No explanation that upstairs was a terrace and you would be sitting outside. That set the tone for the whole night and the inattentiveness of the staff. We sat downstairs. It was my husband, two adult children, and me. We were served chips and salsa, but no napkins until we could finally... More

We decided to go out for Mexican on our 1st night in Denver. The food was ok. The salsa that came with the chips was average at best. Margaritas were good. Quite pricey for the quality. The rooftop area was awesome.

We went for dinner with our 3 kids. Didn't have to wait and the view from the terrace dining area is beautiful. Our waitress was nice enough but definitely a scatter brain. Forgot to put in the order for my 2yr old's food, the one person not great at waiting. If we had gotten a good waitress the rating would... More
