I ate here more than once. Food is always good, this is a place where Greeks eat. It just has some special flair that deserves it 5 stars, even if not everything is perfect every time.

At first the service we received was not the most welcoming one. The reason being that you MUST have a reservation due to the small dining and HIGH demand for the amazing greek cuisine. Our server was a young girl that just started waiting tables and did a great job trying to accommodate all our needs. We had amazing tzaziki... More

We visited the tavern during our vacation. Great salads, the French fries were really good. We ordered mousaka which we believe was defrosted and served. The pastitsio was nice. We also order chicken with potatoes cooked in the oven, which was not top quality. The tavern is a traditional Greek tavern. Not a must on the island.

This family run taverna has the most authentic atmosphere and very tasty traditional dishes.Do not expect linen tablecloths and crystal glasses - this just is not the style - but if you want to spend some time in a fast disappearing traditional taverna then this is the place for you. You will not be disappointed with a plate of the... More

A family dining venue smack in the middle of Menetes. Family owned, they go out of their way to please. Reasonably priced and food is great.

Several people recommended this restaurant, but unfortunately I had a disappointing experience. The lamb might be the dryest meal I've had in a while, almost inedible.

There were not a lot of choices for dinner since most tavernas were not yet open, this was recommended and we can definitely do the same! Great food, great location and great prices! We feasted on huge portions of lamb and moussaka and enjoyed excellent service, will look forward to returning to Perdika when our travels take us back to... More

Both nights in Menetes (this restaurant is NOT in Karpathos town, but in Menetes) we dined at this restaurant. The location is along the main road. The food is traditional Greek and their house red wine was great! We also popped in for a beer the second day and then three men entered and one played the traditional instrument "lyra".... More

We drove by this lovely village, then saw people eating - which made us stop and try it. I had a very good home made moussaka and my wife had a delicious pork and artichoke stew.
