We ate here twice. We were lucky to be here at the first day of porcini mushroom harvest and had incredible pasta with porcini. A delightful appetizer is eggs with truffles. The waiter was highly knowledgeable about the wine and made excellent recommendation for pairing with the food choices.

Nice food, but too fussy. Not my thing, but worth a go. Simple italian food is not their style. Clean and smart surroundings, attentive staff, confortable, but,not enough to bring me back, sorry.

A typical old historical building with modern atmosphere in Vecchio Barga. On The menu you will find the local cuisine to even their own "Sushi"! Service is excellent and is family run. They have a very good wine selection. Highly recommended.

Every dish is unique and full of flavour. The house wine, the winery belongs to a close friend of the host, is truly remarkable. Truly a memorable meal with impeccable service. There were 12 of us, with the youngest 9 months old twins, not a problem at all.

Called in for lunch on a day out to Barga, a small hill town with a Cathedral that creates a great centre-piece from a long distance viewing point but is disappointing inside. The area however, is wonderful as are the views. But food! Oh, I had died and gone to heaven - a fabulous pork dish in a sauce only... More

I had a lovely fillet steak with truffles. I just wish the waiting staff had mentioned that it came with nothing - no vegetables etc. Instead I got just what I ordered - fillet steak!

Loved the menu choices, the food, and service. The Minestrone soup is the best I have ever had. We actually went back two nights later we enjoyed it so much! If your not familiar with your way around the little town of Barga its a little hard to find, but well worth the walk!

This was our favourite restaurant in Barga. The ambiance, food ,wine and service were outstanding for such a small town. The duck ravioli was the best I have ever had, and the house wine at 10 Euro a bottle was excellent.Very atmospheric cellar dining room and also the option of a nice balcony area. Very reasonable prices. Don't miss having... More
