Had a wonderful evening last Friday at the creek inn. The food was amazing, especially the langoustines. The staff were attentive. Just a lovely friendly place to go to. Some of the best food we have ever tasted.

It's a bit out of the way but worth the trip. I'd advise a nominated driver as a taxi from Stonehaven for six was £30 each way. However we thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere service and had a great time.

Had a great dinner there. Food is fresh, service is good, very cozy. Good selection of fish and shellfish all prepared well. Would return given the chance.

I visited the Creel Inn in June this year. I was a little wary as I don't eat a lot of fish so was worried whether there would be enough to choose from on the menu. But I needn't have worried, their menu is varied...More

It's advertised as being a cliff top restaurant which is true but the view that is normally associated with such a location is blocked by the building in front of it. So no view but from inside rather old fishermans buildings or homes there is...More

We'd been told this is THE place to eat in the area. Friday lunch for two. Not very busy. Service a little slow, but friendly enough. Quite pricey. The food was generally good, adequate amounts and well presented. The white wine we ordered had not...More

It had been a few years since we had been at The Creel and it seems like it might be going downhill slightly. The service was very slow, we waited over half an hour for our order to be taken. We chose to order off...More
