The food was a bit pricey but really excellent. The other reviews mention poor service. We could experience it also. The girl-waitress was completely ignorant. The male-waiter saved it.

We are glad you were satisfied with the food and our waiter.

As we were warned before from local people and comments here about poor service, we were prepared, but got surprised anyway. Firstly we could not get the table outside, because 2 of the free tables were booked for the guest of pension(just in case) and...two other free tables were not for restaurant service - they were 2 meters away, for bar service. After long negotiations with 3 different people they finally allowed us to sit outside. The meal was perfect, nothing to complain, although the service was cold and unfriendly . When came the payment time, another “surprise”. First It was not allowed to pay half in cash and half with creditcard, no clear reason why. The the waitress wanted to trick me with card payment, changing CZK amount into EUR (the exchange rate is not in the customer favor in this case). As i have been in Czechia several times i know that they have to ask whether i want to pay in CZK or EUR, but she lied me that it is impossible to pay in CZK, only in EUR. After explaining this, the waitress found the possibility to do correct transaction in CZK with angry comments and face. Never had such unpleasant experience in Czechia!More

I expected little more from this restaurant that tries to look so fancy. Interior is nice and it was full of people so waitress needed to check if they have a free table for me and my 2 friends. The restaurant offers 3 daily menus...to choose from and then some food from regular menu. All meals are expensive. I had beef soup and beef goulash from daily menu is it was so-so. Soup was really good and I can recommend it. But the goulash was somehow too heavy - too spiced or it contained glutaman. I don't know, but I know that I my digestion didn't feel good after it the whole day. Maybe some other meals would be better for me. Because of the prices I would say that this restaurant is more suitable for special occasions than for casual lunch. We didn't fit quite well in interior with our casual clothes. I give 5 stars for view around the restaurant, vineyards and the building itself.More

We weren't guests at the hotel, we just went here for a lunch and it was great and pleasant surprise for us. Untypical for Czech restaurants, no plates full of food, but distinctively served meals and very tasty! Not to mention the wine -very recommended!...We enjoyed our visit here then we took a nice walk over the wine yard up to the view point on the hill above the hotel and it was very pleasant.More

If you are into wine, this is the perfect place to spend some days. Beautiful hotel, and good possibilities for drinking the good wine from the place. Food is ok. The area with the vineyards is nice to walk around in.

Amazing restaurant set in beautiful area. The surroundings is like a fairy tale and when you come inside, the fairy tale continues. the food is classic check cuisine, but made with the proper ingredients, proper time, proper soul. I ordered their wine lemonade and it...was already nice enjoyment, then I had rabbit with brisket and potato mousse. The brisket was crunchy and juicy, the rabbit was juicy as well, really nice dish. The dessert was delicious too - ginger bread with poppy seeds and cinnamon ice cream. The staff was very nice and polite. Can not wait to take here my boyfriend and to make some celebration at this place - as they are ready for big groups. We visited next day again and I had potato soup and my mom pig knee. Again super top cuisine, looking forward another visit.More

I went here for a meal with my partner, our child and my partners parents. We sat outside as it was very warm. It is on a hill within a vineyard. I thought the food was very nice but fairly small portions. I had the...salmon that was very nice but I would have liked if there were some potatoes with it. We had asked for an English menu the day before we went there to eat, as we were walking past the restaurant. We were given a menu in English to have a quick look at. The next day when we went to eat there we asked for a menu in English but was told by the waiter that they don't have one. We explained that we had a quick look at it the day before but he insisted that one doesn't exist. I was disappointed that he wouldn't give us this menu. The staff seemed to very formal and serious. Other than the menu issue, we had a nice meal and nice wine in nice surroundings.More

The restaurant, owned by a wine producer, is among the vineyards. The place is beautiful. Customers are almost all Czech and entry of foreigners in the restaurant is looked at with suspicion? I ate an excellent salad accompanied with a good 2013 white wine from...the producer. The atmosphere as someone said is cold and the staff is not friendly. PS: One the group ate risotto. Be careful as the definition of risoto for a Czech is deferent from the original one.More

Where to start, if you are in area of Pavlovice and you prefer luxury restaurants, this is a good choice. The staff is really professional, interier is modern, but I miss the atmosphere there. I must recommend soups, which are delicious. The food is nicely...prepared, but I believe that the taste could be a little bit better. On the other hand prices are really ok, ~200 CZK (10$) per meal. I would also add a possibility of draft beer, since the czech food is mostly more delicious toegether with quality drafted beer, not just the bottle one.. If you want to enjoy a warm atmosphere, traditonal decor and food, there are better places to do it..More
