imo we ordered brunch that was less than satisfactory: eggs bene with salmon came minus the salmon, scrambled eggs appeared to have more than just eggs in it and the cake felt hard and tasted stale. Will never, ever eat here again. Some staff here appear to not care about their food standards.

After a long journey we arrived in Coromandel Town looking for a light bite to eat and were delighted when we stumbled across Success Cafe. We had a not so pleasant experience with a cafe down the road and we delighted by the warm welcome we received in Success Cafe. Everything from the staff to the carrot cake were delightful,... More

New owners still a great place to stop and refuel the body. The wedges are a dish to behold and the coffee delicious. Table of six was no problems and owners very happy to chat.

We stopped for lunch in Coromandel on April 8 and by chance went to the Success Cafe. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and the premises was very clean. A lovely atmosphere that was very welcome on our long journey. The coffee was excellent.

Taken to this great little Gem by friends. Many of our group enjoyed the local specialty of mussel chowder while I enjoyed a succulent chicken and mango salad. Even the teenagers were happy. The friendly service coped well with our large group and made good coffee.

Stopped in here for some lunch before we headed to Driving Creek Railway, two of us had pancakes and I had the chips, I was told the pancakes were very tasty and my chips were delicious. We then stopped in again after our railway tour and visit to kauri trees for a hot chocolate, which wasn't as tasty but was... More

Beer Battered Fish and the Pork Ribs were outstanding! Great value and service second to none. Forget fast food and get yourself an amazing quality meal for about the same price with a cosy and welcoming setting. The owner is a lovely hostess. 5 ***** in every way! Stopped in here for a short snack for lunch as we weren't very hungry but just felt like something to nibble on. There were three of us and we all chose the soup of the day with a cheese scone for $10. The soup was chicken laksa which was really tasty. This would have been better with plain toast but... More

Been here a couple of times , just love their wedges, cheese bacon ,salsa and sour cream, delish !! Every thing on the menu looks nice, and is reasonable priced. The place has a certain charm about it, sitting outside under the tree, watching the world go by. Service is excellent and friendly
