Lovely dinner here with the family. Only had one night at Coro and chose this restaurant and very happy with this choice. I had the pork belly for an entree and wish that it was a main as it was a truly delicious dish. Rest of the family enjoyed their meals especially the pork shank!!! Look forward to going back... Long time Favourite restaurant in Coromandel. Had nice food for lunch with friends but do miss their chicken salad - best one I've ever had that's not in the menu anymore. Best coffee

Came for a Sun night dinner, great service, table by the fire and two amazing meals. Recommend the signature 520gm steak and Cajun salmon, both were top class. Pair it with the 30mile Shiraz and it's heaven! Enjoy

Lovely cosy venue. Had the fire going making the room cosy and homely. Staff were fantastic, and the meal we had was gorgeous. (pork shank)

Popped in for lunch today on our through, amazing! Delicious meals and coffee. Brilliant service. The mussels were huge and plump, caught at 3am thismorning! The seafood broth was stunning as was the pork tacos. The kids meals were huge and best battered fish we have had in ages! Thank you :)

Had a great lunch and dinner. One of the best meals in New Zealand. Chowder bread and calamari were all outstanding. Good wine too

Pepper Tree isn't cheap but we didn't feel the prices were excessive for what we had. The service was courteous and the feel was definitely higher end rather than casual - which fitted the prices. The food was well done, well presented and lovely. We would go back.

There are many things a restaurant can get away with, but presenting your most expensive dish with oily mixture and heavily undercooked, is an obvious mistake. Not every part of beef can be served medium rare and nobody likes vegetables that are swimming in oil. It's dangerous and pretty pointless, since the restaurant does't gain anything, apart from some disappointed... More

Friends took us, well it was amazing. We all had the Seafood Chowder with warm bread. Superb. Good service, until we came to pay,the young lady was a little abrupt. There was no-one else at the desk, she even want to interact. On the whole amazing.
