If you're looking for a warm, welcoming place with a varied menu this is it. Whether you are with your family, friends or your loved one, this Bistro offers a very good service and a lovely terrace were you can enjoy a delicious three-course meal.They also have a great choice of beers. Comfort food after the storm

After an adventurous trip that included horizontal rain and fierce winds, we discovered the hotel had cancelled our dinner reservation. After calling 5-6 restos nearby, we finally found Bistro West had a free table, were not closing the kitchen at 8 and that they would hold the table till we got there. We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome, and some of the most delicious fish any of us had ever eaten. Furthermore, we felt no pressure to leave despite being the last customers in the restaurant. To ice the cake, the bill was a pleasant surprise. Een aanrader!!

This past year I lived in the area and went hiking in Kop van Schouwen, once we went eat here it became part of our weekends. The menu is great, I had never ate so exquisite and so much for that price. Can recommend all the vegetarian options and my friend loved getting the three fishes and the tournedos too. The staff always amazing. And the cocktails were also good ;-) Sad to be moving away,but, will come back in the future for sure!

Expensive, no choice, very disappointing!

Unfortunately, there was very little choice of dishes on the menu and what was available was far too overpriced! I had a burger for a whopping 21 (!) euros, which firstly didn't fill me up and was also quite salty. Then I had reserved a table for 8 people for my wife for her birthday, but there wasn't even a small glass of champagne or something similar to toast with. Unfortunately, zero service! Won't eat there again!

Amazing experience 10/10

We came here as a recommendation and we weren’t disappointed! We have tried a lot of restaurants in the area and this one is by far the best! The food was incredible, the tournedo was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had! So tender that it would literally melt in your mouth and the sauce that came with it was very tasty. We got the chance to talk with the chef and you could tell he was really passionate about the meat and told us where it came from and everything. We also had the tuna sashimi and it was delicious! The staff were really lovely and were having a lot of fun while working which created a really good atmosphere. The music and the venue were also great so overall 10/10. Definitely recommend it!!

Excellent food for a good prize

We had the 3 course menu with a small addition depending on the main course. The food was really very good and there was some tine inbetween courses. The food was prepared close to perfection and very tastful. I would certainly recommend to have dinner there, do not forget to make a reservation.

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant in an extremely pretty little village. The personnel and the chef were super kind and flexible with helping with my husband’s allergies. Plus the food was really good! I really recommend it!

Disappointment all over the line!

Big disappointment, the meat is absolutely not up to the Award 42 €, hard and without too much taste. The service is very average, we had barely received the aperitif when the main course already arrived! The Lot of waiting for dessert (medium)! Not at all a good value Award, I advise against this address. Very surprised at the location of this restaurant!

We had a great evening as a threesome. The setting is warm, the welcome very friendly. The meal: fish and chips and 2 burgers, brownies for dessert, all accompanied by fries and salad. For drinks, a sea beer, an excellent discovery, a troubadour and an apple juice. We had language difficulties, Google Lens translated poorly sometimes but the waitress who was very friendly called her colleague who spoke French who was also very friendly, I thank the entire team at the West bistro for this pleasant time spent in this establishment.

Gorgeous meals

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we are already looking forward to our next dining experience here. For mains my husband and I ordered the mignon pork filet and the sliptongen fish. You get 3 sliptongen fish which were very tasty indeed. The pork filet was beautifully cooked and tasted fantastic! Our meals were served with lovely fries and salad. So pleased we tried their deserts: we had the truffon chocolate and the aardbeien Romanoff. Both deserts were light and so delish, we could have had them twice over! We will definitely be back.

Easy to make a reservation, we also do takeaway, but going to the restaurant is much more fun. Excellent menu with sufficient choice, mainly including the standard dishes. Service is friendly, one of the waitress spoke English, but no problem for us and if I estimate so, it is always possible to speak to someone in Dutch. The food is tasty, just what you would expect. Asked for the hamburger to be well done, this was also done, so kudos for meeting the guest's wishes. Dessert was also tasty.

bistro west is really all you could ask for in a restaurant!! the drinks as well as the food menu has a lot to offer. they have meat of high quality, delicious vegetarian options and even a variety of dishes for children :) personally, i went for the broodplankje, safraan risotto and the bolus taart. i was blown away by all the flavours and can recommend every single of these dishes!! the staff is super nice and by the way the food tastes i am sure that the chefs are passionate about their job! i want to advise everyone to visit this restaurant!!

Our group of 6 enjoyed the food here! Everything was perfect, the selection, the service, the atmosphere, the quality of the food (and desserts) and also the price. From Spare ribs, Pro Driver to Ribey, the meat was tender and the sauces/glazing matched the meat perfectly. Everything was beautifully presented.

Super cozy Bistro. The girls who serve are sweethearts. Everyone so nice and cheerful. The food was delicious. The atmosphere inside and outside was very pleasant. Sitting in the dark with lights and even someone here and there wearing a cardigan, but the atmosphere was so good that they just sat outside until quite late and enjoyed the drinks and food. We come to this restaurant in Burgh Haamstede every year and we (Brabanders) always come to this cozy Bistro. TOP

The restaurant is rather inconspicuous at first glance, but comfortably furnished. Our steaks took a little time but were sensationally tender and aromatic. Good food takes time. And the waitresses, two young women, knew a lot about the menu and were super nice. All in all, highly recommended.
