My boyfriend stopped on his way way from New Castle the day before, enquired about the menu and decided to take me there the following day. We were quite dissapointed with EITS Cafe. It is true that you can tell what kind of experience you will have by just the greeting as you enter an Establishment. We weren't greeted as... More

A bunch of colleagues and I went here on Mother's Day and it was PACKED. We didn't have a reservation, because we clearly were not thinking properly, but they still accommodated us! We sat in the communal wait room / dining room but still enjoyed it. Our view was impeccable, and the service was pretty prompt. They we're very generous in... More

The food here is excellent particularly the chicken slow cooked in the barrel. Great views from here high up in the mountains just down the road from Strawberry Hill where you pay double the price for food that is not as good as here. Good spot just to sit and have a beer.

Three of us made a reservation for Sunday lunch and headed to the mountains. About 50 minutes from Kingston, we were met at EITS by a friendly man who helped with the parking by the roadside. Outside tables were fully occupied so we ate inside in the cool. The menu is straightforward and the salads very tempting, so we ended... More

Very nice place simple rustic ambiance great to just chill and enjoy the mountains. Nice menu, good selection. Barrel chicken is always a hit but all the meals here are good.

EITS is a very fun, and very interesting little cafe on the side of mountain just outside of Kingston. And the food is delicious to boot! Certain times of the year they serve grilled lobster on the weekend, and we were lucky enough to be dining there at the right time! Got to taste the "barrel chicken" as well, and... More

The food was good - vegetarian I was surprised at the location and the structure of the bathroom. Not quite what I was expecting. Although I didn't stay there, I viewed the rooms but they were more for backpackers.
