Well a so so experience. Some standard dishes were good but some not at all: carpaccio of gambas was very dry (pre-prepared), foie gras was cold inside, Drac uramakis far too salty. Atmosphere: mix of restaurant with dance club music and a lot of cheap...bling bling. Fine for the ones who indulge this atmo, but not for the rest.More
Great menu in the centre of Platja d’aro. The sushi is delicious and the waiter with the moustache is kind and friendly. I have dined several times here and i will continue to return
Basically it's not worth it. Not sure how the restaurant got its rating. They do not have a physical menu card. You have to use your phone to schollen though the extensive menu and remember what you want and where to find it. With the...four of us we struggled and in the end wrote everything down. It was annoying. So was our waitress. She never bothered to ask if the food was good, nor did she say goodbye after receiving a 10% tip. Basic sushi is way, way too expensive. Some of the even more expensive pieces were very good but on average I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.More
I can't say it was bad but I think it's one of those restaurants that die of success. I have eaten other years and this is the worst. The Sashimi with small portions of rice and less fish... I understand that the products are expensive...but those portions are childish, they are not too tasty either. In general, the atmosphere of the staff is more attentive to their things than to serving the table. I will not repeat because there are options nearby with a similar price and more abundant.More
Great quality, food combinations out of standards Japanese restaurants. Not cheaper, although very recommended. Service staff friendly.
Really nice place to taste delicious food. We tried tasting menu with wine included. Our expectations was lower, but we get so many different kinds of dishes and everything was so delicious. My favourite was steak tartar.:) It's impossible for women to eat it all....Only thing that we didn't like so much - service was in rush, althought there was only few tables occupied.More
Decent sushi place with lots of creative combinations. But felt a bit fast food like and service was quite rushed. But the quality of the food was perfectly adequae.
Yes!! This is not Japan, this Sushi bar is in Costa Brava, in Platja d’Aro City Center, but the weather is the Costa Brava’s one, staff is much more kind and profesional than in Japan, quality of all admixtures is superb!! We’re try only a...small part of the menu but all options was very good elaborated. Octopus’s salad was incredible, the uramaki’s squid with his ink imbatible .... the table beside us has eaten a lot of different sort of uramakis, all of them looks good. We need to come back to taste all of them. The best has been Peter, the maitre, congrats for the job you’re doing here.More
