Possibly the best meal of our 2 week family holiday in Castelldefels this summer. 5 adults and our teenaged son gathered together enjoying the local food, described as mainly Catalan style cuisine, we chose to eat from the al a carte menu rather than the Tapas, but both looked as good as each other. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The tapas are special!! I've been here for dinner and we decided to go for the tapas bar. The price is really reasonable and the tapas are great. We ate so many tapas of different types and taste that I cannot even remember all. Those were the best tapas ever tried

Good Spanish fare. Not too expensive. Calamares a la Romana with sausage stew and bread about €14 with a drink. It's easy to spend a lot more on this strip. Taste is authentic, service is efficient. Recommended

Many good places to eat in this little town near the airport; so if you have a long layover take a cab to Castelldefels and you will not go wrong with Txalaka; great seafood, very good ambience, not at the beach but very near a little bit on the expensive side, but worth it Will I go again? YES

Had a very good steak, staff were friendly, and not too expensive. Seemed quite popular too with locals which is always a good sign.

Seems like they have a good choice of tapas, but I didn't like the fact that there were flies flying over the food. Hope this can be improved. Service was good. Atmosphere is very nice.

Service was not very good unfriendly and slow. Paid for a tiny pierce of fish 20 something euros which didn't even taste good and didn't come with anything else. For a fish restaurant it wasn't good quality at all. Restaurant was clean but the meals are not worth the price. Just got ripped off.

A lot of choice of tapas, both in self-serve or à la carte. We had tapas à la carte and my favorite one was the 'mini-sirloin with foie gras'. For those who are more hungry, you can always complement with some self-serve tapas at the counter. Drinks (wine and beer) are good. Friendly staff with nice service. Good location. All... More

Good Pinxtos, local fast food. Reasonably price, serves good wine. They have two sides of the restaurant, we only tried their tapas side. Nice staff and good decently priced wine or beer. If you fancy something else than tapas, try their jumbo hamburger for two. Kills the hunger very well. Good for sharing or enough for one mountain biker who... More

We ate here after reading the trip advisor reviews. Interesting.... Not what we thought tapas were. Self serve at the bar. Mainly bread with different toppings. They were nice. Desserts were yummy. Service.... They didn't really help us being Australian and not speaking spanish.
