We visited Port of Call for a meal towards the end of our two week stay in Playa Blanca and wished we had come here sooner. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. We were a party of 4 and had starters, mains and dessert. Each course was delicious. I had Prawn Cocktail, Hunter's Chicken and Apple Crumble and I... More

First visit here and would definitely return. Good greeting on arrival and good service throughout. Presented with a recommended choice of red wine which was both inexpensive and a really good wine. Both starters and main course fillet steaks were excellent. Although not in the town centre it's well worth jumping in a taxi and seeking this restaurant out. The... More

We called in here as we are staying near by. We had garlic bread and garlic bread with cheeses as starters, nothing adventurous and they were nice. Youngest had chicken Kiev, which was fine but just stuffed with garlic rather than garlic butter so was a little too garlicky. We had steaks. I had one stuffed with prawns. Hubby had... More

The high listing on Tripadvisor is a little misleading for The Port of Call. I get why families would rate it. The food is good home cooked fayre. Large portions and very reasonably priced. We shared the garlic mushrooms to start, followed by the stuffed chicken and stuffed cod. They both came with more potatoes and vegetables than we could... More

Discovered this restaurant during a villa holiday in Playa Blanca.....wish we had found it earlier in the holiday (still managed to eat here 3 times). Lovely food, friendly, welcoming service and good prices. Fillet steak is delicious. Back this year so will be eating here often I suspect.

On my restaurant searches on TA, this was one of the highest in the Playa Blanca area. On advice we did book in advance and that was probably a wise decision as it became busy from 9 onwards. Not a huge amount of dining floor space but that is fine for us as we like it not too bustling. The... More

Unlike the restaurants we visited at the Marina and in the centre of Playa Blanca, the Port of Call offers a bit of everything you are looking for. Friendly and efficient service with a smile, a great menu for everyone, fantastic food (the best we had this holiday) and all at a good price. Definitely book a table as this... More

Staying in a villa in Faro Park so the restaurants along Calle Irlanda were our local. First time I took the children, daughter had scampi, son had chicken kiev and after a false start where they had run out of the stuffed sole I had the fillet steak in peppercorn sauce. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection - beautiful.... More
