We visited La Petite Marmite on a few occasions, we could not complain about anything. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially on days/evenings when the market had been on and it was very busy. We will definately be going back there when we return again.

We have visited this restaurant lots of times and this years holiday was no exception, visiting four times in two weeks. This family owned restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are so friendly, the food is really varied and there is always a good number of specials made from local produce. We have recommended this restaurant to a number... More

We ate at the Marmite 3 times during our recent stay near the marina, returning again on our last night. The staff are friendly and helpful and give you honest advice about what is good and what is fresh . Stick to the specials, particularly the fish and seafood. We shared a hake one night and had grouper on another,... More

Service not what it was but we weren't in a hurry so no big deal. Food great, location good and I think overall the place represents good VFM. Lamb night is usually Wednesday - check it out.

Visiting Playa Blanca for the third time, we looked forward to revisiting this, our favourite restaurant. We were not disappointed. Marcus and the staff are friendly and efficient. The basic menu provides a good selection of fish, meat and pasts dishes, but the 'specials' are really worth trying. Fabulous fish (halibut and 'red' tuna) and beautifully cooked fillet steak etc... Liked the look of the restaurant and menu so decided to visit. Arrived approx 810pm order taken by 820. Was only advised that there was an issue with the starter at 900pm and given a plate of parma ham as an apology (neither of us like parma ham). At 910 decided that we had enough and walked out of the... More

This place started well - much talk of specials and good wine list - but we waited more than an hour for one course and when it came it was mediocre at best. Waiting staff tried to make us feel slightly better but the offer of a free drink doesn't make up for the wait and the less than great... More

Visited four times in two weeks for evening meals plus two lunches after market. Fabulous food with different specials every time. Always a friendly and warm welcome from all the staff and nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to returning next year.

Just arrived back after a weeks holiday and every evening was spent at Marina Rubicon. This was our second time at Rubicon so I think we have probably now tried most of the restaurants and this one is our favourite. It's easy to miss as its the very last one at the end of the Marina. We cannot identify with... More
