I've been here before. The pluses are that they do have good cakes and coffee, but... they were not so friendly and had extremely odd rules. Our young son needed to go to the toilet but they wouldn't let us until we purchased even though...we were in the midst of making our choice. Second, they accept no credit cards. Third, we were there at 19.00 in the middle of the high season and they would not let us sit inside (despite it being cold) because they said they were closing. What?!? Lastly, they had some nice cakes Ina 2nd display, but they said they weren't for sale because they were for tomorrow. What again?!? This is all unfortunate, because it has a lovely interior.More

special tarte creations and a delicious fruit cocktail (orange, lemon, cream, ice and a little bit of soda) made us come back the day after already. we'll be back on our next visit to swinouscjie. definitely a place to recommend :) (they also offer organic...food)More

Great coffee and treats. They have amazing desserts. Can't wait to go again when visiting my family. Service was good, could be little nicer. They assumed we German speakers and got rude when we didn't understand. But then they turned the negative to positive and...spoke great English to us and apologized.More

Had to pay extra for a sip of cold milk into my Americano, not coming back. Food looks good, service is nice.

Really great interior. Wide range of cakes and types of coffee. Proper espresso with rich nutty taste and good texture, crema thick and long lasting. Glutenfree chocolate cakes was suprisingly delicious with crunchy twist. Cheesecake with wipped cream and fruit was light and delicate. Blueberries...and raspberries were fresh. Yummy. They don't accept credit cards. Just cash. What a shame.More

One of my passions is coffe & cake, or 'Kaffee und Kuchen, or , Jause( Austria) The Coffee Bar is one of the best addresses I have ever visited. I know of no better or as one as original in Berlin.I have lived in Wien...and know Zauner in Bad Ischl, too... a fabulous address, with great charm and a terrific location: facing the Swine river.Try their Limone tartelette, or their cake from wild strawberries......More
