We stayed in an apartement at La Pieve Vecchia for a week in June, and had dinner at Osteria La Pieve Vecchia several times. Great food, good wine, reasonable prises and very friendly staff.

I discovered this place two years ago as I stayed at la Pieve vecchia hotel for a couple of days and have been coming back since. The food is fresh and cheap and service is very good. The head waiter is an especially kind and beautiful person. What is more it is a magnificent setting and kids can play on... More

We had a nice table outside. Food was good with some original dishes. Friendly head waiter. Dishes took very long unfortunately.

We discovered Pieve Vecchia by chance years ago and purposely come back to it whenever we are in the vicinity (which is not often enough). The food is refined and absolutely delicious, the service friendly and efficient, the setting peaceful and in good taste, the value for money simply unbeatable. Of particular note are the appetizers and the desserts, each... More

We had driven past this restaurant many times on our way to Arezzo. It has always had cars in the ample parking lot. We decided to stop in for lunch on Saturday. We started with a polenta tortino with the freshest porcini mushrooms we have ever eaten. Really I think they had just gotten them from the woods that morning.... More

Great service. Everyday a new special. Looked after the kids, who can play on the grounds while the parents eat

We have been coming back to this restaurant for more than 20 times and always had a great experience. The food, service and family owned restaurant atmosphere are all top-notch. It's central location between Cecina and Riparbella give it a unique location for lunch and diner before heading out to Volterra, Lucca, Pisa or any other Tuscan historic site. We... More

Having read the only English review at 3 out of 5 we took a gamble and I would recommend that if you staying anywhere within 20km it is worth a visit. Great food, freshly prepared with good flavours and a good choice. 3 courses with 0.5lt of wine, beer, water €55. Most importantly the service was friendly (not what you... More
