We were looking for place for lunch and Tripadvisor was voting this place as #1. I know why now :) Food was perfect, starting from some crostini, prosciutto and cheese platter, pastas, deserts...We went there twice in a row, so good.... Absolutely delicious pastas with plenty of local people and adorable family running this business from generation. I would suggest... More

We have eaten here many times in the 16 years that we have owned a house nearby. The food and service have always been excellent and of the highest quality. It is necessary to book at weekends as it is always full of happy eaters!!

This is our family's favourite eating place in Tuscany! You must book, or you will be disappointed. It's a tight squeeze, but worth it. A family run restaurant, all home made and delicious. Do try the bisteccha, and when available the deep fried porcini mushrooms. Wonderful!

We took a day out of Florence in June 2012 to check out this restaurant that claims to be (one of) the oldest Casa del Prosciutto s in the world. We had a most lovely time driving through the fabulous lanscape of Tuscany. The restaurant is a small place, where proisciuttos are hanging from the roof. There are also a... More

I have been to Casa Del Prosciutto a few times. I have taken friends there and have recommended it to many people. So, I was suprised to be treated so disrespectfully by a young waitress. We did not have a reservation and had no problem at all waiting. It was very busy. Finally they called us and were seated at... More

First: book your table well in advance.. Or simply eat outside in the little area by the bridge, if it's not too cold. You will enjoy this better if you are not vegetarian, as there is a lot of charcuterie hanging and good meat, however there are soups and pasta options that are meat-free. Second: expect delays if you booked... More

We went with a party of 7 for lunch and had a great meal. The bread and cured meat appetizer was excellent. Our pastas and meats were fabulous and the desserts were wonderful. The house wine was excellent. If you are in the area then this is the place to go,
