You could easily be fooled, walking into the Taverna which in the front is a small bar and smoke shop. Do not let this turn you off. We went for dinner based on a local recommendation and what a treat. From the great service to the fresh and delicious food, to the very reasonable prices, the 6 of us were... More

Top cuisine, and always welcome for great food for a good price. The best is that the family is cooking and serving. The best family restaurant!

I have been coming here since 2001 and it has been a perennial favorite of my friends and family. Great Tuscan specialties in all categories. A warm and friendly place.

OK.... there have been some moderately complementary reviews on this restaurant. But this was our best experience of authentic Italian Tuscan cuisine. From walking through the modest "grocery store" to get to the table to the non-translated menu this place is simply awesome. We ate at several restaurants in the Tuscany area and we have our fondest memories from this... More

Just recently been to Taverna della Berardenga, after a few months that I hand't been there. They have a great revamped menu, and the place's ambience has had a great upgrade. Definitely recommend it for easy Tuscan "home made" type meals, great taste and good prices.

Our hosts recommend this restaurant to us. We went there and the food was good with reasonable price. the rabbit was good, the other are okay. They don't have English menu as the menu changed daily but they have the translation and you need to match it with daily menu.

Excellent food. Awesome location. Friendly and economic. Good local food served in a warm typical trattoria. Fun to blend in with locals and tourists from all over the world. Girl at the bar is nice and very helpful. Will do again soon.

You walk in through a little grocery / convenience store. Sit down to an unpretentious, authentic experience. Nice and comfortable, good food, doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. Good service. Truly enjoyable experience.

Very homey and local restaurant. The communication in English was not the greatest, but we managed. We shared wonderful porcini salad, a nice pasta and some meat. Very Chiantese!
