The food is simple but very tasty. The waitress didn't know good English but was very helpful and essential. The wine was amazing. The atmosphere was grate. definitely go there again.

This place was wonderful. The service was incredible, we told the waitress we were gluten Free and she went through everything that we could eat. She said usually it is best to call ahead as they can create more options but as there were already gluten free customers who had called ahead, we had many options including the most amazing... We went there as a small group and we tasted almost the full menu. All was delicious and the portions where big. As suprise, the price was low and we had a lot of good local wine and limoncello. We could sing italian songs and play music and even the owner joined us to enjoy. The garden in the forest... More

On vacation, heading out from Manarola in Cinque Terre for 4 days in Tuscany. Driving by noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a try. First off no fish, my Italian is very limited and at first mistakenly thought filet was filet of fish. Luckily they were very accommodating and had a delicious lasagna they cooked up with pesto... The pasta is amongst the best we had in Italy and that is saying a lot! All handmade and every dish is made and presented with care. We ended up going back a few times during our stay in the area and if this was in our neighbourhood, I would eat here every day!! Wonderful service, great wine selection, good... More

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident and were glad we did. The ambience is basic but it appears to be a place where the locals flock. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Ilaria the owner/chef is charming if you get a chance to meet her. We went back twice we enjoyed this restaurant so much. My wife and I... More

Traditional and really good food at affordable prices. Nice service. A wonderful atmosphere in the woods in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

OK foodies, if your in Siena, get out of town & try this great little spot about 25 min NE from Siena on SP 102 near Vagliagli. Cacio e Pepe was recommended to us & with somewhat sceptical expectations, we hit the road, at night, in search of this restaurant. Fortunately the directions we rec'd we're accurate and we found... Enjoyed a very good dinner with my wife and 3 friends. The food was generally excellent the only minor problem was some confusion which resulted in some of the main courses being brought at the same time as the appetisers. Otherwise, everything was very enjoyable with one lamb dish being a standout.
