Food pretty good portions enormous. But oh dear I have seldom come across such miserable staff. Wouldn't return for that reason.

I have been eating here for many years and it is like a home to me. I always can find something on the menu that I enjoy! Good house wine with extensive choices. Friendly service and comfortable in either the inner restaurant or the attached garden.

This place is excellent for ribollita and the pasta is also good, as well as the second courses and deserts. It's like going to your Tuscan's grandmother's house for lunch.

I'm a positive guy so let's start there. Trattoria in the middle of castelnuovo bernadengo with both outside and inside eating. Staff spoke good English and by the time we left the place was full (outside). My antipasto plate was ok as was my wife's bruschetta. I had spaghetti with tomato sauce which was also good. However, when my wife... More

The staff at quai due are like a family to us. We have known them since they opened their place a number of years ago. All aspects of the restaurant are well done. Yo will enjoy yourself here!

We would never have found this little treasure if we weren't traveling with friends who had done all the investigations before hand. The restaurant is packed with locals lingering through lunch engaged in laughter enjoying the food and house wines in carafes (you can order bottles). Food was simple but tasty. Staff very pleasant.

The restaurant has a basic feel but was welcoming. It was very busy with lots of Italians, always a good sign. For starters, the bruschetta was excellent and the parmigiana was gorgeous. The lasagne was good and the pork steak was fairly lean but a bit dry for my taste. It was well cooked though with a crusty top. Toilets... More

The restaurant is located in a relatively modern part of Castelnuovo Berardenga village, opposite the library building (still close to the historical center: in a so small village the distances are minimal). It offers a typical regional cuisine, much appreciable. In a business dinner, we tried: "pici" (sort of thick spaghetti) with pecorino cheese, pepper and garlic, pappardelle (kind of... More
