Visited only once whilst in Noto and wish it had been more often. Came here on our final night. It is tucked away down a narrow alley but is well signed. It was full to bursting with local people and there were few tourists which is a good indicator of how good the food is. We only had a caponata... More

We just finished our best meal in Sicily yet! The food was amazing, the seafood antipasti was huge and super delicious. The ravioli was homemade and perfectly cooked. All the staff were really friendly and accommodating. All in a great dinner, Thanks guys!

We stopped here for lunch and ordered two pasta dishes and a salad. The sauces on the pasta were gloppy and the ingredients were very poor quality. Without a doubt some of the worst food I've experienced in my life. Every other restaurant that we have been to in Noto the food has been very good to outstanding and we... More

The owner of the apartment we rented in Noto said that we MUST eat at Trattoria Ducezia. He was right - where the locals go. Honestly, I do not understand why tourists insist on eating on the main pedestrian drags where the food is generally poor and overpriced (no repeat business; why bother). It is certainly that way were we... More

We are staying in a villa near Modica me visited Noto today. The restaurants on the Main Street were a turnoff because I generally distrust any places that have pictures of their food on a sandwich board outside, so I asked a local and he recommended this place only a couple blocks away. We ordered a seafood antipasti and it... More

This hidden tucked away place is where the locals come. Don't go to the tourist traps on the Main Street. The octopus and all the seafood was fresh, super tasty and delightfully prepared.

We visited this lovely local restaurant with another couple while vacationing in Sicily. We tried the restaurant based on the advice of a resident of Noto. It was located in a courtyard and could be a little hard to find if it were not for a sign in the street. The staff were very attentive and extremely pleasant. Clearly, this... More

Despite we asked whether they had fresh seafood (it was on a Monday) and the answer was YES, we had the impression everything was either defrosted or old -too much seasoned. Mixed seafood starter: super oily. Impossible to taste the octopus as covered in pistachio cream and oil. Ravioli: what was the filling? sauce with very tiny prawns and CREAM... More
