While touring Noto on a particularly warm day, we stopped for drinks, viewed the menu and decided to order lunch. We are so glad we did! 4 different sandwiches, all delicious and the bread, OMG! One sandwich was the local beef with tomatoes, peppers and...olives. One was eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, ricotta..... third was a caprese sandwich and 4th was another meat and vegetables. Generous portions, super fresh ingredients, and wonderful service. Thanks Pablo and all the staff.More

We had this tapas type platter, mid-size for 20 euros which was somewhat expensive for what it was. After we got the platter along with two tiny plastic plates & plastic cutlery, we had to insist for 2 regular knives. Guess what, they charged 2...euros for the covers 😂😂. But at least the 33 cl. bottle of beer & the glass of red wine wasn’t more than 12 euros... 😳 Well, stay away...More

Although the food was nice in this place, I can't say the same about the behaviour of their staff. I forgot a small bag with some goods I bought from Taormina which by the way I hung it on the chair and when I went...the next morning to ask if they had found it, not only they told me (in Italian using Google translator) that possibly had thrown it away (or kept it for them) but that I was responsible for my bag and that it wasn't their fault I forgot it. They even took me to their friend at the souvenir shop opposite the street to buy me the same things but he was even more rude as he told me to speak in Italian. You can hardly call it a good customer service when you just have a catalogue with numbers and a poor description of the food and not speak English at all in a place where visitors come from all over the world. It's sad that young people who decide to work and have their business in the tourist industry, are unable (and consequently rude) to provide the professional service that they're supposed to provide due to lack of English language skills in a world-renowned place like Noto.More

We ate here in the evening early on asa pre-dinner snack as our dinner reservation was later and we were starving. We had the small €10 local platter that was designed for 1 person but we easily shared between 2 for generous snack. There was...a selection of cheeses and meats or various quality. None of it was outstanding but all very enjoyable. The accompanying bread was fresh with some garlic and olive oil which was good. We had a glass of Nero d'Avola each. It was very average tablewine but this place doesn't have a wine list and is not trying to be an Enoteca. We sat outside on the main drag and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a bit cheaper than other places on the street and this is fairly reflected in the quality. However overall I'd happily sit down again for a platter and a drink and a good option for those on a slightly tighter budget. We tried to takeaway a sandwich to have the next day as we were going walking. This was at around 2130 in the evening. There was bread left but sadly this isn't something they offer.More

This bar serves a good aperitif. We had cold cuts, cheeses, bread with tomato tapenade - all were good quality. However, it was pricey. Two non-alcoholic beverages and the cold cuts tray for two persons was 25 Euros. Considering that a fair price in Sicily...for this type of aperitivo rinforzato is about 8 Euros, it was overpriced. Also the service could have been better. We did not get little plates and the bottled lemonade was served without cups.More

The staff here were very friendly and helpful both times we visited here. We had a meat and cheese board which was delicious with freshly baked breads. Our waiter chose wine for us to try which were lovely. The second time we went we had...sandwiches made up for us to take to the beach, they were really delicious! Good value for money.More

We loved this place, but I believe that part of that love was due to the fact that we were not in a rush. We ate during the second 1/2 of a busy lunch, and it took a long time to order, get drinks, get...food... etc. The medium plate of meat and cheese (15 euro) comes with 2 things of bread, and is more than enough food for 2 adults who like to eat. In general, no one should ever be in a rush when they sit down to eat in Italy... but if you are in the middle of a busy day and in a rush, this may not be the place for you. There is seating inside and outside.More

We stopped for a quick lunch and found the service and the quality of the food excellent. I would certainly recommend the place to anyone needing a quick lunch while on tour.
