We visited twice during our stay in Noto. Fantastic dessert choices. Beautifully formed cannoli. Expresso with almond foam is divine.

I'll admit, we've been enamored with Caffe Sicilia after seeing it on Chef's Table so when we had the chance to visit Noto, it was on our list. Not surprisingly, all of the tables outside were taken but we were lucky enough to find a...table inside. We found the service to be professional and timely, they weren't overly friendly but they were swamped, so fine by us. We were given English menus and taken care of promptly. We didn't wait long for the fabulous feast to begin! We enjoyed cappuccinos, a cannolo, two different types of gelato (one sweet and one savory - special of the day...red pepper gelato which was amazing!) and their delectable biscotti di Mandorla (almond biscuits with lemon). We ate it all and were delighted by each of them. Enough so that we bought a bag of delights to take away with us :) Highly recommend Caffe Sicilia while in Noto!More
A must stop for coffee and desert. We had to wait a bit for a table at street level, but enjoyed the experience. Italian espresso, as it should be, while soaking in the atmosphere of Noto. From what I hear, the founder of the cafe...apparently returned to Sicily and Noto, to help the economy. Noto itself is very beautiful, one sees the past of glory, a bit of sadness seeps through, as one observes how glory can totally decline and remain only a site for tourists to visit.More
Thought we should have a coffee and a croissant at Caffe Sicilia. The guidebooks have made the place famous. My advice is don’t bother. It not worth the scrum and the place survives on the tourist book, not their product. The staff are disinterested, inattentive...and rude. They only provide customer service to those that they know. There was a table next door to us that they were all over. The rest of “the tourists” were ignored. Caffe Sicilia is one of those places where they have forgotten what made them successful, and now they are content to provide minimal attention to their guests, knowing more are queuing to have a table. As to the food, their coffee was nondescript compared to some of the coffee I have had in Noto. The croissant was ok. My son liked the granitas. Bottom line go somewhere else for your coffee where you can relax and the staff will welcome you and make the experience one to remember.More
I ate a granita with one brioche. The price was too high: almost 10 euro! The quality was medium. To have a comparison, in the same day I had lunch in a restaurant for 13 euro!
Dreadful service! Arrived with my husband at 10pm to get a drink. We went inside the cafe and were totally ignored as the place was very disorganised , so went outside and as the cafe was quite full outside we have moved a chair slightly...to give us more room from a couple next to us and got told off by a very rude waiter, so shocked by his language that left immediately to next cafe and had a brilliant service. Would not take my dog to this place to be treated like that. Worst experience in cafe ever! Will never go back and will tell everyone to part with their money elsewhere.More
The best cafe in Noto. We had desserts, coffee and cocktails, everything was superb. The staff is friendly and attentive. Also a great spot on the Corso to watch how time passes by. We will definitely return.
items selected were good. slow service. a bit of attitude from waiters. not wheelchairs accessible to interior
Would I recommend to a friend? No. Would I eat here again knowing what I know? No. I was told by our guide that this was the best cafe/ice cream shop in Noto. What I found was a crowded cafe were the staff did not...care about you. I have been in fast food restaurants that care more for its patrons. If you found my review helpful please let me know by giving me a thumbs up. Thank you.More
After tasting many gelatos in Rome and Palermo, I can certify under penalty of perjury that the gelato at Cafe Sicilia in Noto is the best on the planet. Tis the stuff that dreams are made of!
Super cool place for a gelato and granita. My wife an I enjoyed an almond granita, and a gelato (Oro + Ricotta), both with brioche. The ricotta ice cream was the best we had in Sicily
Recommended in the Rick Steves guide. What a let down. Crowd of people inside. The gelato might be the worst tasting we've had in Italy. The other place, Costanzo, was a lot better.
One of the best desserts we had in Sicily. We came back the same day for gelato and granitaand they didn't dissapoint. Highly recommend!
Awful coffee. I ordered caffe americano - it shouldn’t have been too challenging. It tasted like water! I politely complained after I tasted it and was told that I could order something else but I would still have to pay for it. It was undrinkable....I left it on the counter and paid and left. They don’t care if their customers leave happy, as long as they manage to relieve them of euros.More
I was having breakfast there every morning during our stay in Noto and was bringing a wide selection of pastry to the family´s breakfast. Highly recommended the pastry with ricotta (in winter!).
