Attending Acireale, for years I had noticed this restaurant, located in a scenic location, in front of the baroque church of San Sebastiano. The opportunity to experience the property occurred recently, when two friends wanted to offer us a dinner. We focused on a main course and a dessert. These the dishes we ordered (we were five people): mixed grill... More

Recommended by our hotel L'Oste Scuro proved excellent. A wide range of tasty dishes reasonably priced with polite and efficient service this restaurant deserves to succeed.

We were recommended this little Trattoria by the owners of the apartment where we are staying. It's a charming Sicilian restaurant serving fresh fish / seafood & also good vegetarian options. Lots of locals dining there at lunchtime. Great welcome, good, unobtrusive service and good food. Recommended.

We were led to this restaurant by an old man on the Piazza Duomo. Not quite sure what to expect, we had a most pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is old fashioned, with some funny masks and lots of pictures of the region from the early 20th century. The food is very authentic and carefully delivered, mostly seafood. What we liked... More

This is a charming, old fashioned Sicilian restaurant, excellent, authentic dishes, attentive service by Vincenzo and staff, fascinating decor and more. The house red wine is affordable and very drinkable as is the unique lemonade. Highly recommended are the antipasto, grilled vegetables, and an extraordinarily delicious lasagna.

Grab a window seat and watch the world go by whilst enjoying great Sicilian food served by a lovely host who's happy to suggest the best dish of the day (and the wine to go with it..!) Wish I could have visited again.

Went there on a lovely warm evening, and it was great for watching the town pass by. The fish and seafood antipasti was magnificent - and one portion is ample for two. One of us ate pasta with swordfish and one chose swordfish involtini. Both were good but not exceptional. Service was friendly and helpful. The house white was a... More

Had a lovely meal for 3 here on our last night. We had lasagne, cannelloni and carbonara. Small portions but very nice. Good friendly service. Meal came to 40 euros.

This is a place to go eat. Excellent seafood, particularly the antipasto which two can share. Faces a lovely church. Service was fine and much cheaper than a restaurant in a major city.

Mainly a seafood restaurant with good antipasti. Some of the other dishes excellent, some not exciting. Good service and wine, pleasant ambience, worth a visit.
