The food was very average however the service was terrible.
We asked for a recommendation from our waitor to which he said ‘no, the menu is small’.
We had two courses each, nobody asked us how our food was at any point during either course or checked back on us, we sat with empty glasses for our second course. We only had one drink during the whole meal.
Nobody cleared our plates despite several waiters passing us various times, we gave up and went towards the till to pay- on the way we asked for our bill and the waiter just pointed to the till.
We didn’t have a bill so we had to describe where our table was, we explained our disappointment to the guy on the till and he just said ‘I’m sorry, I don’t know what to say’.
We felt very overlooked throughout our time there.
The beef was dry and the potatoes were bland and pre cooked with no seasoning. The tuna was salty and served with one tiny carrot, aubergine and pepper alongside mayonnaise.
A disappointing end to an 8 day trip in Sardinia. We paid over €100 for the privilege! One drink each and two course each.

I don't usually write reviews. That's not to say my review is better than others. I simply write when I'm impressed. Positively and negatively. At the gardening we had a divine dinner with subscriptions which in some cases really surprised me (I highly recommend the gnocchi).
In short, everything was perfect, even for my two little ones aged four and two who had dinner with us.
All the staff always made us feel at ease throughout the evening.
Just one piece of advice (not a criticism).
I would only review the musical selection which can be even more tailored for such a cordial and confident environment as that of the Giardinaccio.

I have been to this simple and clean restaurant with my family. We ordered two tasting menus and a plate of spaghetti cuttlefish and bottarga for the baby.
The menu was really good, we devoured everything and also the wine selection was much appreciated, we ate more courses of generous amounts for 60 € each, a more than fair price considering the expensive tourist menus that we ate unfortunately in other places in the area. Very courteous and helpful staff.
