Have you ever tasted the love that some cooks put into their food? You definitely will at the Valley House Restaurant. This is the kind of places where you feel how much passionate the chef is about food and everything it can tell. Whatever you...More

The food at the Valley House Bar & Restaurant is amazing. Choose any dish in the menu and you won't regret it! The chef is truly talented. So is the owner with his Guinness pouring skills (probably the best Guinness you get in Ireland). Also:...More

12 of us had a fantastic lunch here in July and every single thingv we ordered was fantastic. Admittedly we were all hungry but we ordered a good range of dishes and everyone was really happy with the food. The service was very warm and...More

I can't really describe with words how nice it was to eat in that place, but I will try anyway. The first time we went I had the special chicken-and-avocado burger which was truly amazing, tasting so soft with the chicken which had marinated all...More

Nice bar to come to for a drink, we ate too and we sat in a room that had little atmosphere - constant stream of staff going back and forth to the kitchen. The service was good though, attentive but not in your face. The...More

The Valley House is a long established port of call when in Achill. Pat and his team have really ramped up the business and along with a wonderful atmospheric bar, house, courtyard, Faerie trail, they have now a superb restaurant providing a fabulous menu for...More

Usually as a vegetarian you're left stuck with very boring unimaginative options but this place was such a great surprise. Tucked away with cosy indoor seating and lovely courtyard outdoor seating. Food was excellent.. Really well thought-out menu catering for everyone. Highly highly recommend.

Had a beautiful, tasty meal here last night with lovely server followed by a super creamy pint in the bar. The idea of a "good room" for adults only is music to my ears! Only reason I scored 4/5 was wine list was a bit...More
