We've now been here several times when staying with friends in the area. We chose the €21 menu. It was a Saturday evening at the beginning and July and the place was buzzing. As usual the young lady, I presume the owner, on her own, very efficiently greeting people, serving the drinks and the food. We didn't have to wait,... More

Read other reviews, so gave it a try. Lunchtime 11 ish euros a Menu du Jour. Very basic, little choice and not very well cooked. The starter was mostly lettuce with tartlet containing cream sauce and some form of meat, served in a silly square dish, others I noticed turned it out onto their side plate. Main was a chunk/slab... This is a traditional little bistro with no airs and graces. At lunchtime the set menu had little choice-gizzard salad followed by a beef stew. The is a lot more choice at weekends and the evening but I did struggle although what I did eat was good. The waitress let me order off menu with a little mozzarella salad as... More

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The menu of the day was a fish cake with salad, a delicious brioche? With salmon incorporated, an eminence of beef and a clafoutis with pear and chocolate for desert... Yum! Two of our party had it and loved it. We samplers thought it was great too. I had a tartine Normand,... More

Good quality food, cannot fault the service. Always busy so don't leave it to late to arrive especially at lunchtime.

In the heart of the Medieval old town this restaurant offers quality food, good value set menu in a beautiful building. The outside eating space is lovely. Highly recommended. The pace is service is French and food cooked from scratch so enjoy the slow pace and enjoy it. This is not fast food.

Had a lovely meal here the other evening, excellent value we had the 21€menu. It was a Thursday evening and they were quite busy when we arrived and more people arrived. The food was delicious with a good choice. A small intimate restaurant, we will certainly return if in the area and would thoroughly recommend
