The menu at the restaurant offers authentic Italian food along with the usual menu of pizzas and pasta. We enjoyed mainly from the polenta and the risotto dishes in beet sauce. The restaurant is located in the old yard of the kibbutz and the atmosphere...More

Place is located within the oldest kibbuz - pretty hidden behind a parking spot, so it took us some time to find it. Great food and superb service.

We had dinner at this place. The food is Italian, but adapted to local customs in a clever way. We had ravioli and polenta, and pizza. Main courses were nice. We also had a recommended special desert, which turned out fairly simple, just some sweet...More

Description
The restaurant is nested in the heart of kibbutz Degania Alef, adjacent to the Sea of Galilee. The patio faces the pastoral courtyard, surrounded by century old structures. The interior is separated into a primary dining room, complemented by the presence of a bar both comfortable and welcoming, and a romantic dining area, featuring an entire wall decorated by a wooden wine display. Upon entering the building, guests are received by an impressive authentic Italian stone-oven. For the menu, the Italian-Mediterranean kitchen features pizzas and foccacias from the stone-oven, fish and seafood, handmade pastas, and an array of colorful and modern desserts. The atmosphere is warm and homey, the waiters are well groomed and uniformed, and the service is meticulous. And in the background, a playlist from the Italian classics, through the French chanson, the bouzouki of Greece, and finally the legends of rock.
