Needed a late lunch after travelling. We had a variety of starters so can't comment on the main courses. Food was ok but very standard for this type of restaurant. Service was good. Prices seemed to be reasonable

The food is very Uruguayan but with a lot of fish dishes too. The service is great and some waiters speak English too. The food is yummy and it is a nice setting for kids too. We have been back to this restaurant around 4 times, we like it. One improvement is that need to learn how to make good... More

Very good value for money. Family atmosphere, well served, very clean. Visited on a Sunday at lunch time. Was full, but had many waiters so service worked really well. Recommended!

Located in the heart of Atlantida, Don Vito is a typical uruguayan restaurant. It has a fully stocked parrilla where you can pick all the types of beef cuts. You can also have pizzas and chivitos. Portions are very generous so you will definetly end up leaving with a doggy bag. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu.... More

Don Vito seems to be the place everyone recommends when you ask where to eat in Atlantida. So this is the only place I experienced. We had "bife ancho" (silroin) which comes with vegetables (red pepper, potato and sweet potato wrapped in foil paper), and someone had grilled chicken which comes with the same choice of vegetables. We wanted the beef... More

Atlantida is located half way between Montevideo and internationally famous Punta del Este. A quiet and neat river resort in a nice peninsula on the shores of the River Plate. The restaurant is one of the few opened during the whole year, conveniently located in Atlantida's commercial centre. The place is neat, nothing fancy but the food and service are... More

Export quality, Bife Ancho, is the recommended steak for tenderest meat. If you prefer Medium (Al punto) or Medium Rare (Entre al punto y jugosa), I would consider ordering it rare (jugosa) because it's easier to cook it some more than uncook it. Also had fish. I like their french fries. Wasn't crazy about the chivitos.

Six of us arrived famished after a long bike ride from Piriapolis and enjoyed our meal at Don Vito. The staff was more than willing to find us the basketball playoff game on the big TV. The servings were large, the food came out fast, and our server was prompt and cheery. Typical menu with many options for all tastes,... More

People don't believe the following story: Uruguay and Argentina produce the best beef in the world, HOWEVER you will not get it in Uruguay ! The A cuts will be sold to the US and Europe, the B cuts to the richer South Americans and the local 5star Hotels and the worst will be sold in the local Tienda Inglesas... More

First I had breakfast here and had a huge omelette, and the price was reasonable. Then came back for the Bife Ancho, similar to a ribeye, and it was the best steak I've had in Uruguay or Argentina, and I've had steak here almost everyday. One thing you have to be careful of in restaurants here and in Argentina is... More
