Staff are really friendly well trained. They work like clockwork to make a continually busy train of customers happy seated well looked after and happy. It really is home cooking How many times do you see it written claimed and it's meaningless? It as close as you can get in a commercial eatery her. Honest food and fabulous deserts. Really... More

Taken by friends who live locally while up on a visit to the area I was amazed at how busy the place was and it took us 3 times driving around the car park to find a parking space this did not bode well but my friend assured me it would be worth it ...and it was a short queue... More

We had heard this place was popular and weren't disappointed. Went for lunch and the select and prices were really good. I had an oriental duck ciabatta with salad and a side of chips, wish i had skipped them and the ciabatta and salad would have been enough. The selection of home baking on offer was huge as were the... More

Great helpings of different and delicious foods. Nice scenery in marquee. Always really busy no matter what time you go, but they always find you a seat. Only black mark is lack of sufficient parking spaces. Great Sunday lunch treat.

Very popular but service was good and efficient. The sandwiches which were made to order were very filling and flavoursome (prawn marie rose and smoked salmon with... More

Couldn't believe how busy it was on a weekday out of season but I guess that is a measure of how good the food is. My wife and I had hake wrapped in Parma ham. Just excellent. Coffee was particularly good. Had to share a table but that wasn't a problem. Views out to the Cromarty Firth are stunning on... More

Lovely setting. Freshly made food. Large selection of Gin to purchase. Had fish and chips which were delicious and seemed a popular choice with other diners. The meringues are enormous!
