I met a friend here for an evening meal - it was lovely, food was very tasty, we had a nice table and were not rushed/bothered - we spend the evening enjoying the food and blethering. Lovely.

The food at Turrets was outstanding. I have had haggis before, but didn't really care for it. At Turrets, they served haggis balls on mashed potatoes with a mustard cream sauce. Haggis should always taste this good. My wife had orange duck pate' and raved about it. We also had rump steak that was tender and well prepared. The menu... More

The waitress said were only taking orders of the set menu. I Explained that my son didn't like the set menu. She replied... More

Beautiful food! Fish and Chips delicious. Best steak I have tasted. Eton mess fabulous, the Apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding delightful and the breakfasts are amazing!

That was no problem for the hotel to have 2 residents and two non-residents dining. Prior to their arrival we went to the bar in the hope of having a glass of Champagne or Cava, as we had just... Ate here last night and the menu was limited and the food no more than acceptable. Michelin Star it certainly isn't but I've lived to tell the tale. The bar staff female was on the edge of being manic and the phrase more speed less haste sprang to mind
