A lovely venue, friendly serving staff, totally let down by the food. Pity the kitchen don't know their ciabatta from their French bread! At least you'd expect the courtesy that if they'd run out of key ingredients they would let you know so you might have the option to change your order. Oh no! You get what you've given despite... Had the most amazing lunch at the Kings Head in Bridgnorth. I had the steak burger which had so much flavour and the home cut chips were perfect , Mum had Gammon, which was so succulent and moorish and was so beautifully cooked it fell apart, she said it was the best gammon she had ever had. Staff were warm... More

Very good food and drink. Staff always helpful. Can get busy on a Saturday lunch time but this is only because it offers value for money. Always happy to visit here.

A good, traditional gastro pub with a respectable clientele and happy atmosphere. Varied and interesting menu, well cooked at reasonable prices. A wide selection of real ales. Service excellent, with friendly but not over familiar staff. A lot of pubs could learn a thing or two from the King's Head (e.g. The Lion Inn at Winchcombe!).

We have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed, the food is excellent and good value for money. The service from the friendly staff is second to none. Can highly recommend the pork belly, although all the food is excellent. Our favourite place to eat, keep up the good work.

We visit Bridgnorth regularly and the Kings Head is 100 metres from home - so it is very convenient and evidently popular as it is always busy. We always book in advance to guarantee a good table - the process is so easy - you can even book via Facebook. So, we had an early glass of wine in the... More

We called in for a drink today. A friendly welcome from the barman. The beer is always kept in very good condition so my husband had a pint of Twisted Spire. I had a lovely glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The atmosphere is buzzing with plenty of people eating. We didn't eat on this occasion but the menu looked very... More

We dropped in on a busy Saturday night after a good cycle ride, so were famished. The staff said that if we found a table they would serve food, which we did. The 5 beers were all light, which wasnt to my taste but seems common in the area. We waited and waited for the food, eventually coming to the... More
