Ordered two steaks - one well done and the other medium rare - both done to perfection! Plus Loads of chunky chips, veg and salad! Superb! Highly recommended! Noticed the chef is an old mate of mine from the punch bowl in burton! He's always been a good lad. Didn't see me but he hasn't lost his touch!!! Highly recommended!!!

Spacious Pub Geared for food. The food Is fresh and served to your table hot and presented well. Our Main course was delivered very quickly after our starters, however we were one of the last to be served so I am assuming the kitchen was closing and people wanted to go home. Our main course was enormous and I simply... More

Popped in on a Sunday evening without a reservation, restaurant was very busy but we were given a table. Service was very efficient and the food was fresh and plentiful, very reasonable priced also. As we were staying in the area we went back on the Wednesday evening with friends. Would certainly recommend.

Would recommend the Eagles Head Over Kellet for prompt service, good selection of food and ample portions. Plenty of helpful staff. Have eaten there before and will revisit.

Paul, from the Tithe Barn, recommended the Eagles Head for supper on the evening of our arrival in Over Kellet. It was a gentle stroll from the B&B and the service and the food were very good. They have a Pub Quiz on Wednesday nights but it doesn't start until 9.30 p.m. and as we had yo be up early... More

Been to this pub today for lunch had fish chips and mushy peas and a slice of bread and butter £9. Fish was lovely it's a shame the chips were frozen and tasteless need to change your chips for some tastier ones.

Thank you very much for your review, We are pleased you enjoyed the fish but in respect of the chips we seem to be stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, We have customers that love the thick chips that you were served and other that prefer a thinner version. What to do??We can not serve all different... More

Arrived without booking, though we were early, (5.30). Ordered and food delivered promptly. Very nice freshly cooked meal and catered for specific health requirements. All in all a very good experience, dogs allowed too!

Great!!! Just give them a try you will not be disappointed. Well done management and staff. Another for the list of returning venues at which to eat and come away full without costing the earth.

I am very disappointed that you felt the need to post this response on Tripadvisor I have investigated this and seem to have got a different story than the one you have written. We are very sorry that you found a small stone like object in your food. At the time of the incident the staff apologised and DID offer... More
