Very well located, in front of the beach and with nice view of Praia da Vitória marina. The food is good as well as the service. When everything is closed you can have a meal on this nice restaurant.

Day-time service wasn't as good as night-time service. We visited this restaurant quite often, on our own, and with friends during our stay. The owner was super sweet to us, and our daughter. Food was always really good. Very large portions, and great prices.

the worst place to eat in Açores Islands. The worst staff, the worst food (the meat was chewy and old), the worst experience during my staying in Terceira.

Short version: It was a rainy day so it was quiet, only 2 tables were seated when we arrived. 1hr 15 minutes later not a morsel had been brought to us. There were 8 of us including 2 children and 4 or 5 of us ordered the soup of the day - how does the soup of the day not... More

Never on your life even consider to eat there. We asked for 5 soup and 5 dish of the day. We waited for 45 minutes, they didn't even put a tablecloth on the table. The soup arrived AFTER the main courses because the waitress forgot it. The meat was old, the fish awful. Also the service was poor and it... More

More than one hour waiting while some other people came in, eat the same as we did, and leave while we were waiting... Do not recommend, that staff is bad...

On our 4 week trip to Portugal and the Azores we ate in a total of 19 different places. This enabled us to make good comparison between them in terms of food, service, atmosphere and value. From our experience, I can appreciate some of the reviewers’ positive and negative points about Tropical Point. We ate In Tropical Point for 3... More

We just wanted a light lunch so dropped into this small place overlooking the beach in Praia da Vitoria.....perfect choice. We simply had some cheese, some good sandwiches and some super grilled prawns. All good. Oh, and did I mention the 1-litre steins of beer? The waiter was friendly, fun and fluent in English.

This is not the best restaurant in Praia but it's good and the menu has lots of choice. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was well presented and tasty. I tried the Alcatra on the first night - recommended!! The Picanha Brasileira on the second night wasn't quite as special but enjoyed all the same. Take a... More

I really dislike the service there and the food portions. I try to avoiding to go there, however (and unfortunately) late at night they are the only restaurant where you can get a meal at. It wont be worth it though.
