We visited it for lunch on a sunday. The restaurant is part of a small country hotel (agriturismo) few kilometers from Pisa and Lucca. Our choice was for meat. We had tagliata, perfectly cooked and prepared, and chianina tartar prepared in three different styles. Pasta was also very well prepared. The "pappa al pomodoro tortelli" ( a closed pasta with... We were guests at the Locanda and had two wonderful dining experiences. The food and wine were excellent as was the service. Prior to dinner we had drinks and snacks on the veranda and enjoyed the sunset. Some fabulous examples: Squash blossom quiche ( amuse bouche), monkfish with artichoke appetizer, pappardelle with cingale sauce, chestnut and chocolate ravioli with shellfish... More

The restaurant has a great seeting with a view to the sunflower fields, providing relaxation when you need the most, in the end of a harsh traveling day. The food is good, and the price is quite afordable given the location and setting. The best was the appetizer and the deseart, which is the reason why it cannot be a... More

The food wasn't that special but the view is! Between the sunflowers and looking at the mountains is amazing. The price is a bit high for the quality of food. The service is excellent and we had a wonderful night!

Nice place to go for dinner. Today we went for the second time this week, just because we like the location and the food & wines. Open and friendly staff and worth the short drive if you don't want to eat in one of the tourist restaurants in Pisa.

Their fish stinks (20€ and more), other food was tastless. Staff weren't friendly at all. There are better places around.

The resaurant is managed by one family and therefore it is very fiendly. The Food was excellent and we have eaten two times dinner during our five day trip to the Toskana. We can alos recommend the breakfast buffet with a lot of different Food. We will definitely come back soon.

Surely not the best restaurant in town, there are several surely better. I have chosen just the first and second course from the menu a la carte, but then found that the price was higher than the fixed price menu (that included the appetizer and the dessert as well). Food was originally presented but the kitchen was of a medium... More
